I ride RT 480 everyday to and from work 8 out of every 10 drivers are on their phone. Fines should be the same as a DUI. More people are killed every year because of cellphone use than drunk drivers.

How big is the problem?
Copied from the CDC web site.
•In 2012, 3,328 people were killed in crashes involving a distracted driver, compared to 3,360 in 2011. An additional, 421,000 people were injured in motor vehicle crashes involving a distracted driver in 2012, a 9% increase from the 387,000 people injured in 2011.1
•In 2011, nearly one in five crashes (17%) in which someone was injured involved distracted driving.2
•In December 2012, more than 171 billion text messages were sent or received in the US

Rolling from the donut place at 8 puts me there at 8:25 or so. If you want, a couple of miles south of 224...just past 585...is Eastern Road. Big Circle K gas station there we can meet at.
Sounds good to me

Helmets are kind of like condoms both are a good idea to wear but it sure feels so much better when you don’t.

Talk to the owner if they did a lot remodeling themselves make sure you get a good inspector to check the place out.

They are saying only 50 have died but with the population densities in their cities my bet is you should probably add a few zeros to that number

Finally one of these falls on my weekend off if nothing changes I will be there I will start in the slow group and maybe move up from there.

Jim I work retail I already hate everyone LOL.
Have you ever heard a Harley shift gears
Fuel mileage is about the same
My speed runs about 5 over
I use locktite on everything or it will disappear
I do like bugs on my bike it makes it look like I actually ride it the only reason I hate riding in the rain is it washes them off.
We need to do a meet up with the Buttapalooza Riders before the snow flies would Saltfork area be a good location

So, I put over 700 miles on my new bike in a week.
... I can't get off of it.
Is this normal
Good start You will need to up your game a little Son LOL. I Took my current bike back to the dealer 2 days after I got it for the 1000 mile checkup There are more than a few riders on this forum that have done over a 1000 in a day. But it looks like you have got the Itch now.

Thanks for the input everyone I will check out the 2014s at State 8 first But cant get there until Thursday. Jim you are the reason why Iam looking at the Voyager in the first place after following you out west I saw what that bike could do for being a bagger.

I have decided to trade in my 2012 FLSTC (little over 33000 miles on it) on a new upgrade the Harley dealer offered me $12.000 in trade. The bike is already paid off so that would all go to the new bike. BUT the bike I wanted was $17.000 more than the trade in. So screw that deal and after talking it over with the wife we have decided to keep the Harley we have now and buy a new Kawasaki strait out. So Thursday we start our search for a 2015 VULCAN® 1700 VOYAGER® ABS priced at around $17.000 also. Any suggestions on dealers that will let wife and I the take one for a test ride. I will not buy from a dealer that says no to a test ride unless they really come down on price. We will start at State 8 in the falls it looks like they have one in the color I want in stock and it is closet to our house.

If they were a different color the cops and Walmart would be in big trouble LMAO

Over the last 45 years I have washed everyone of my bikes at a car wash useing full pressure and have never had a bike not start afterward. Its the only way to really get them clean after riding in the rain.

I know some guy that got up at 6am in the morning everyday while on a ride out west just to wash his bike.

If you had ever been there you already know the place was nothing but a giant urinal to begin with.
