If its a newer truck, just putting some stabilizer in the fuel, and taking the battery out would be top of my list. I might set it on jack stands so it doesn't flat spot the tires. If its a older I'd pull the spark plugs and squirt a little oil in the cylinders and just turn it over before putting the plugs back in, keep in mind it would be best to pull the plugs and turn it over when you take it out of storage to ensure there is excess oil left in there. If you take it easy when you get it out and run through the stablized fuel it should be fine. But what is better then all that would be to let someone you trust drive it once a week while you're gone.

I have to agree with this, the car won't be fun for long on the stock drivetrain.

If they want any kind of turn out they need to change the time, I wouldn't mind coming if it was more realistic.

Go launch a fast car, you'd be surprised the difference between a 1.6 and a 1.4 60'. I bet you'd put Mark's Vette into a wall, hell I would, that shit isn't easy. Now on the other hand if the car is set up right it isn't as hard to do either one. My car launches straight, and has a solid drivetrain, good tires, everything is balanced, and it goes straight and smooth at 160 too. Your old broke ass shit would be all over the place at 160 and would seem hard to do, and since you've never launched anything that takes any skill I've decided that you don't know what you're talking about.
