Just the 2.2, we didn't care to spend the money, and got the 1LT so that we'd get the power options and not much else.

My wife wanted something smaller, cheaper, and more fuel efficent then her Impala. I'm sure it'll be a decent car, but we've still got the Impala too.

My post was in reference to Tyler just to fuck with him. My opinions aren't based only on fact or fiction, more so just what it is I'm attracted to car wise. The feeling of loyalty and patriotism just comes from tradition, besides the Cobalt my wife and I just bought was built in Lordstown, Ohio.

An SRX is a cross-over, but anyway we were talking about Fords and Chevys. However I will have a Cadillac when i get a little older and want a nice luxury car, I don't get that yuppie vibe from a Caddy. I just get that big baller bullshit vibe with the Escalade.

I generalize them for the most part, but to be honest I see them as status symbols for yuppies and wannabes. Plain and simple I'd only own one if I didn't have to buy it with hard earned money, and then I'd beat the ever loving piss out of it. The pussies who think their shit don't stink and that their cars are so great would hate me for beating a brand new Mercedes, Lambo, Ferrari, or BMW to death. :bangbang:

Buying, maintaining, and spending all my money on a house I cared nothing about was the waste for me. I now have more free time, free money, and more fun, and for me that is what life is about. Fuck the house, why should I care? Just because people think they need security financially? I'll buy another house someday, but it'll only be for the room to keep my shit. Go enjoy the rat race of life, that isn't for me.

You're entitled to your opinion. All I did was give you mine. Personally I have never been attracted to any German car, ever. I can respect any car's performance, but that doesn't mean I'd ever buy it. Cars are all about how they make me feel in more way then one, I'm very proud to have what I have. Now just because of mistakes by company executives, or because these other companys hype their stuff up and convince people of how great they are doesn't change how i feel about it. Just because they want to make them here in order to make more money, doesn't change anything either. Take Toyota for example, they're super popular, but as far as I'm concerned they are the most generic, cheap feeling cars out there. German cars all strike me as some over engineered, ugly, waste of money. You want to call me uneducated, but I just do what makes me happy. I'm not going to do something just because the media hypes it, or society wants me to think a certain way about it. It's just like how everyone is programmed to go buy a house, get an education, and hate the people who don't follow along with society. Fuck that, I'm a free thinker, and I'm going to continue to do what I want to.
