Well see you're not even close, I sold my house to have more fun and bought the Camaro two months later. I've been into cars from birth, my first word was Jeep. Back then my Dad was into offroading, then it turned into Karts, which turned into my first speed addiction at age 8 Kart racing.

Let me share my thoughts, people who feel absolutly no need to support their country or the products that originated there are like homos, it's un-natural. I respect what other countries and auto manufactures do, but I have a strong sence of loyalty. There are plenty of people who should just go live in Japan or Germany always nutswinging on their cars, go be a real nutswinger!

So how into cars are you, really? Like them? Love them? or are you truely obsessed? I for one am over the top. Not only does all my extra money go into the car, my life revolves around my Camaro and cars in general. Almost everything in my apartment is car related, the computer, the model cars, pictures, tropheys, hell even my bed is black and white checkered. My garage is packed full of car parts, tools, and of course the Camaro. When I'm working guess what it involves cars. All I ever want to talk about is cars, beleive me when I"m at a CR meet and nobody is talking about cars I go home. Not only am I Obsessed I'm very biased, I have no interest in owning anything but a Chevy. My wife and I went to look at cars because she needs something new so I can drive her Impala (those of you who've seen my S10 know). Well after talking with the salesman about a couple Chevys, while mentioning that all I've ever bought was GM, even wearing my Chevy hat no less, he decides to ask me if I'm interested in a Toyota (my least favorite car) and I jumped down his throat. My wife just laughed and told him my point of view, and he felt the need to introduce me to the sales manager who was actually excited to meet a loyal customer. Should I seek help?

You know I'll have to give you the 5.0 wars, back then the 305 boat anchor that come in most f-bodies was as slow as the V6. Back in the 80s I would've much rather had the foxbody's performance, however I would've still bought the Camaro. Funny thing happened yesterday, I went to look for something new for my wife and the salesman couldn't beleive how pissed I got when he tried to show me something other then a GM car.

We'll see, not that it matters much to me, I can't afford either. I love the Z28 though, and it'll be just as easy to mod as anything else.

Ford doesn't care about the Camaro, they'll wait until the Camaro is gone again to beat it so it can't defend itself. The way Chevy has finally decided to go after the competion again is great, Ford needs to get moving. Watch out when the Z28 comes out, it may have taken Camaro 9 years to answer the terminator with it's own blower, but you guys will be done.

Perfect example is how my idiot little brother goes out and gets hammered. Get's stopped on the other side of town, as if drinking with a short drive isn't bad enough, and to be honest he made out easy. He didn't have to go to jail (my parents picked him up), plead guilty, had most of his sentence suspended, paid a small fine $200 or so, and lost his liscence with work privledges for 6 months. Guess what his dumb ass has been doing the past few weeks? Out drinking. It's only a matter of time before he gets caught again, and then who knows. At least when I'm out playing in my car I'm stone sober.

yea well it won't move, i decided to pull the valve body out after trying new shift servos, and I didn't feel like putting it back together.

and then push my broken Camaro out of the way to get it out, and then drag it down there to fuck it up again, nah I'm going to enjoy not breaking shit during the off season.

I'm right there with you, my debt is finnally gone and I got the titles to my cars just yesterday. It's a great feeling. :thumbup:

It's actually running pretty good with the new RAM, disk clean, and defrag. I'm sure some of you guys could make it better, but its okay for now.

Straight from a computer guy. I did upgrade it to 2 GB of RAM today, it seems better.
