  1. I don't want to be the one who makes us think about fall, but my weekends in Sept. are filling up fast and I am wondering if we are doing a fall Epic Ride?? As of now, I am down for Sat. Sept. 9th or the following Sat. the 16th, everything else is booked.  Shit, I think I just opened the door for a poll!

Confirmation from the family. Its true, he is back. A little spacey at times but no big deal.

This is amazing, been praying for John and his family every day since I heard.  It is a miracle and it was not his time.  Now it's time for recovery, keep us posted.  We will be waiting at the next stop John!!

  3. @whaler and I spent some time at the hospital yesterday.  We couldn't see John as they said he was too agitated, so we hung out with the family for a little bit.  John has an awesome family that are all pulling for him.  I am trying to stay positive for them, but am concerned about the same things Derek listed above.  Maybe the second opinion from the Cleveland Clinic will help clear some things up for the family.  I guess we just continue to keep John in our thoughts and prayers until the family discloses more info.

Bringing this back from the dead.

My usual $20/tire guy is busy.  Are there any people near the North Ridgeville area that can swap a front and rear Q3 for a reasonable price?  Preferable if the setup won't mar the rims.

@whaler has a no mar.  We have done tons of tires.  PM him, he is in Medina, so just south of you.

  5. I have used multiple sets of Bridgestone BT023's on my FZ1, fantastic tires all the way around.  Bridgestone replaced the BT023 with the T30 which is an excellent upgrade and your going to get more mileage out of them.  @whaler is on his second or third set now.   I run a michelan Pilot Power in the front and a Pilot Road 2 in the back, a great combo IMO, but will most likely go to the T30 due to the mileage peps are getting out of them.

Just left. Keep in mind all my info is second hand as I do not talk directly to the doctors.

Not a good day. They took him off sedation, he was not responsive other than to pain. If they poked him in the feet with a needle he reacted strongly. But nothing from verbal commands or touch.

So back on sedation and they wanted to do an MRI to look for any signs of a stroke or injury to the brain from the fall as this happened.  They were not able to get him sedated enough before the end of the day to get it done. He is still moving around too much for that.

Keep the updates coming Jim. I have been praying for him and his family every day since I heard.  This is just going to take a lot of time for doctors to completely assess him.  If he can't speak, it's going to be that much harder.  One day at a time my friend, you will get through this John!

  7. We will be praying for this guy and his family.  Feels like yesterday we were hanging out at the hungry bear eating breakfast and talking about riding.  He is a fantastic dude and I hate to hear this, especially since he works really hard to stay healthy.  Really shocked to hear this, please keep us updated.
