Broke it in half. Then hammered it back together. Then it separated again, so I hammered one side about 80% shut, and smashed it all back together. I knew it was likely to go in the trash as soon as I first pulled it.

I can get the "performance" model for the same price. I was just seeing if anyone had any cheaper ideas. I currently love the way it sounds after I screwed it all to hell, but it can't breathe well enough to go past 6k.

Actually I should have been in bed 15 min ago (6am comes a bit too early for my liking). I live in Dublin, but can and will ride damn near anywhere. I'm not opposed to the idea. What kind of price are we talking here? And would it be longer than the original mechanical?

I kind of ruined my baffle today. Playing around with drilling and bending to change the sound. I can always buy another mac mechanical baffle, but I would rather have something that sounds throatier.

I have. She has only broke down on me twice so far out of the four or five rides. Got a good shakedown last weekend, and I am looking forward to doing it again tomorrow.

I might bring mine by. Not looking for too much, but am wanting to go in on a Yamaha Bolt if you guys have one.

Have you looked at Rice Paddy? They have quite a few options. Might not look the greatest, but you can always clean it up and get it for cheap.

I recall having made a ridiculous post once, selling a stupid ricer wing that came on one the MR2's I used to have. The creativity alone got the thing sold for $20 when I was just going to toss it in the trash anyway. I do agree, people are stupid and impatient. Friends love to pay me to come along to do all of the negotiating for them.

I can always make a ride out sometime. I want to get my carbs rejetted, so I need this done first. Once the weather warms up.

I actually need this done on my XJ650. I would much rather pay someone on here to do it.

And considering the frame of my bike indicates that the build date of my bike was 6/80, that means these were the original lines.

I have an iphone 5s, with a liveproof case, and a lifeproof handlebar mount. Both are waterproof. I have the Scala rider Q3 headset, and it hooks up to the phone via bluetooth. I run the Waze gps app, not only for directions, but to have a warning for police and road hazards. Sorry for the thread revival, but I just came across this, and my setup has been flawless. I don't have to do anything if I get caught in the rain.

I just got some nice-ish highway pegs and a steel brake line for my xj650. Nothing too fun, but its a start.
