  1. This is what your bike will prob look like before the mods. Here is an after photo. - I would provide you the 1/8" red line for carb vent and fuel overflow.
  2. Looking at parts online, I can buy a can, 1/8" NPT brass fuel fittings, some 1/8" ID hose and give you a bracket. I can then get the can drilled and tapped for you. I can get you that setup for $55 delivered. (that gives me about $8 for the bracket I made and my time). The only thing you need is the larger vent line you can can buy at lowes, depot ect. Just throwing this out there for you just in case you don't have the taps or access to the fittings.
  3. The guy I normally get my catch can from is out of them right now. Here is another seller that has some. You will need to drill and tap an extra hole in the can.
  4. Catch can is used so you don't dump any gas on the track. You vent your carb and overflow to the can. Some guys use pill bottles, pvc pipe ect for a catch can. You just need something that will collect any gas if it spill out of your carb. You will also need a gas tank vent breather cap. I keep an extra one in my tool box if yours doesn't show up before race day. You can buy whichever color you want, here is one that ships from the US. Be careful because some ship from China and can take 2-3 weeks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gas-Fuel-Tank-Vent-Tube-Valve-ATV-Motorcycle-Dirt-Bike-Silver-/111249047521?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19e6f5bfe1&vxp=mtr
  5. Yes, I have some of the prototype brackets that would work for him, they are just not as thick and take less abuse. I can mail him your old one.
  6. Like others have said RonAyers or local Honda dealer. here are some part numbers to get you going! Your bike is newer than 98 so you will want the needle jet assy. part# 16012-KN4-A10 $17 http://www.ronayers.com/Search.aspx?k=16012-KN4-A10%09 Pick up a 102 main jet also $4 http://www.ronayers.com/Search.aspx?k=99101-GHB-1020 You will also want a 38 pilot jet pn# 99103-KA9-0380 http://www.ronayers.com/Search.aspx?k=99103-KA9-0380 Ronayers will prob take a week or so to get you the parts.. so if you can score them locally that would be a plus for you! You now have 2 weeks to get this done.... clock is ticking!
  7. Cool deal if you can score some recon work! I sure hope they did real hot-patch asphalt and not just that home depot cold patch stuff for potholes. ~ saw ya pop in over at OMRL also!
  8. This will be interesting to see how that turned out! be sure to grab a pix of the repairs if you guys head back out there before April 26th.
  9. Ron Ayers will prob be your best place to pick up spokes. I have yet to find a local dealer that had some in stock... but can't hurt to call your local dealer first. Here is the parts fiche for 2001. XR80 front wheel http://www.ronayers.com/FRONT-WHEEL-C171850.aspx $3.70/ each XR100 rear wheel http://www.ronayers.com/REAR-WHEEL-C171089.aspx $1.58/each

  13. That is correct, Alexa has retired. I just talked to her end of February. Sorry to see her close up shop but wish her the best in retirement! Barnacle Bill and Lizzy Leather are both solid repair shops.. used them both with great results.
  14. Awesome!!!!! Can't wait to see you at the track!!!
  15. Are you taking charge and making the call to see if they will be open? I saw the news regarding Donnie on OMRL

    stunt riding

Nothing like crashing out on the cool-down lap!! Who am I to talk... I crashed on the warm up lap!
  18. Correct! KX60 is liquid cooled and would be a F2 machine. (Any 2-stroke up to 72cc can race in F2) You can always do a front disc upgrade like this person did.... as long as you stay under 72cc you can do whatever you like for modifications.
  19. I can't believe that Nelson didn't make the list....
  20. Come join the fun with us, like Chris mentioned it's pretty damn cheap compared to racing big bikes!!!
  21. Excellent!!! Glad to see you got that out there and were mostly pleased with the results!! Wish I could have been there!
