  1. It's not that expensive at Alum if you get into the lottery draw for a slip. They do it once a year and I think it's around $450 for the season. However as Tenzig pointed out there are a lot of people applying for the limited slips available.

That guy would have been in big trouble if he did hit back. He would have been ridiculed even more for hitting a 12 year old. He needs to find the kids dad and beat the hell out of him in front of the kid. :D
  4. I really like the fact that it's a big V8 and has 4 doors. The older I get the more I'm in need of a bigger car with 4 doors that has some guts. I've never thought about getting one even though the need was there due to the scarcity. It's great to see new cars that fit my need coming out,ie. CTS-V, the new Charger. I think they need to rethink the names on these cars though. That car should not be named Charger.
  5. I just wish they would put stronger internals in it. They are using the GT heads and rings but that's about it. I don't like the fact that they are using "unique connecting rods" as opposed to billet or forged. When it comes to Ford, unique is another word for cheap. :(

My S40 isnt the baddest thing to ever come from Europe... actully its not even all that great compared to its big brothers/sisters... but i still wouldnt trade it for nearly any american or Japanese car because the driving expierence just isnt the same. I guess its one of those things you dont know untill you own one.

I have had the unfortunate privilege of owning two of Germany's finest and it cost me about $25-30k in depreciation over a two year period. The 98 Jetta GLX VR6 drank a quart of oil every 1000 miles and had numerous electrical glitches. I figured that all the problems that it had were due to the fact that it was assembled in Mexico. I loved how the car drove and handled so I figured I would be safe with a BMW. I then purchased a 2000 BMW 328I. It developed oil leaks after three weeks and was in the shop for two weeks to fix. A month later it developed a rod knock. So it went back to the shop for another 2 weeks.I figured at this point nothing else could possibly go wrong with the car...wrong. Two months after the knocking rod issue it started to develop electrical problems. The car would act like the battery was dead one minute then be fine 5 minutes later. That was it for me. I traded it in for a Acura TL Type-S and lived happily every after. Actually my wife did they were both her cars. It really was a shame because both cars handled better than any other car that I've ever driven.

i loved the looks and sound of that car....someday i might just have to buy one.

On the video it claims to be the 455CID engine which is the 650HP engine. They don't make a 510HP 455 engine.
  9. I agree with the good Doctor. If you want a good tire that won't wear out super quickly go with the Nittos. The BFG and MT drag radials will hook harder but expect to only get about 5-6k miles before you need a new set.
