I'm not trying to bag on you. I just found your original statement a little out of line. If my Cobra was still just a pulley, chip and CB car I would still like to run a new Z06. I know that I'd get my ass handed to me but it's all in fun. It's usually the same way with Z06 guys. Most know that a full bolt-on Cobra should beat them but they race for fun anyway.

I went back to your original post so you get it. You wondered why a Bolt-on Cobra would try to race a Z06. The answer is because that bolt-on Cobra is faster than any previous generation Vette. Get it! Why the fuck wouldn't he try against a new Z06 to see how it stacks up. I'm finding hard to believe that you can't comprehend this. I can't believe I'm arguing with a guy that thinks a fucking Volvo is a performance car.

Im talking year for year, best against best... with the exception of 83... i dont think a Mustang has EVER been quicker than a Corvette... if they were.. id say it would have been between 80 and 85... other than that it never happens.

 

So my question is... why do these Mustang guys race Corvettes every year like they will suddenly walk all over em?

So your saying that a 02-03 Vette is faster than an 03 Cobra? I ran 12.89 @ 112.35 bone stock in my 03. I would hope that would give a 02-03 LS1 Vette a run for it's money. As far as Z06's from the same year, a pulley, chip and CB puts the Cobra out front. I thought this was common knowledge. Where the hell have you been for the last 2 years? The C6 Z06 just came out. WTF are you talking about? A bolt-on Cobra can beat any stock Vette except for the new Z06.

They are far from the best in the NFL, the Giants, Denver, Seattle, Indy, Dallas, NE, Carolina all have better personel, and talent than the Steelers. If the Steelers can't control the Tempo and slow it down they are toast, if they get behind early they will not come back.

Wrong. The Steelers have one of the best if not the best offensive line in football. They also have the best blocking receivers and the highest rated quarterback. Your also making an assumption about them not being able to come back when facing a deficit. With Ben at the helm they've only lost 2 regular season games. What did you run?

The first run was a 12.2 at 124. I had to short shift the car on the 1-2 and 2-3 due to running my 275-35-18 Kuhmos. The second run was a total disaster with the short shifting and never making it to 4th gear. That run I coasted the last 300ft and ran a 12.68 at 102. What a shit show. I was not a happy camper.

The wait time was ridiculous. I only got two runs in as well. The second run I had to short shift my 1-2 and 2-3 then proceded to pulverize my 3-4. I just coasted from about the 1000ft mark. I'll never get that 4 hours of my life back.
