  1. Ok let's get something clear here people. It's not the price of the part. For crying out loud I just bought a $15k bike. The issue is the principle. If I sell you something I better know what I am selling you. And if I feed you all the bullshit about how I take care of my customers after the sale too, then I better man up and stand behind my words. Really gets me worked up when someone tries to piss on my leg. Quite simple in my books - you have every right to be an asshole, but then, be prepared to get shit smeared all over you!
  2. How do you guys post these "Google Reviews"?
  3. I'd like to give him one last chance before I post his name publicly. He's in the northwest.
  4. Note: My bike has less than 200 miles on it. So I couldn't find the gas tank prop and left a message for my dealer that I couldn't find it. He responded to me and said that he checked with Suzuki and the Hayabusa does not come with a gas tank prop. My previous Gen I Busa had a prop in the rear tail. Why would they stop putting one in? So I call Suzuki and talk to a rep who says he'll check and call me back. He left me a voicemail stating that the Hayabusa DOES come with a tank prop (a 10" rod) that goes in the tail. Now this has become a pissing match and it is making me really mad! Sales rep is adamant that the GenII Busa does NOT come with a tank prop. I have a recorded voice mail from a Suzuki rep and he has the nerve to adamantly keep saying that he talked to Suzuki and the 2013 Hayabusa does not come with a prop. WTF! For a $12 rod this guy is lying to my face! Now my OCD is kicking in and I have to get it out of him even if it means kidnapping his kids!
  5. Call me twisted or sick, but I like it! Has the batman look to it lol. I think you could mount some 15mm cannons under those two outports!
  6. I've been looking for a mechanic. In Minneapolis I knew a guy who used too work out of his garage. Charged an honest fee and I took the parts to him. Did a great job. Do you guys know anybody like that here in Columbus in the vicinity? Who is Hoblick?
  7. I like it! Call me sick or twisted or whatever, I like it.
  8. Thanks for all the replies - keep em coming. I'm thinking of portable security so when I ride in to work I don't worry all day about my bike in the parking lot. What I am thinking is using a disc lock like the ABUS for the rear wheel. It has a 3D accelerometer so it starts wailing if the bike is moved. Second layer would be a Scorpio alarm system which has an accelerometer with an option of installing a perimeter sensor. So once the chirps then Scorpio alarm followed by the ABUS disc alarm, all go off it should be enough of a deterrent. Note I said deterrent because I know that any bike can be stolen! I would love to tether but I just don't have much space in the tail of the Hayabusa to tote a 30lb Kryptonite chain around! In the apartment parking I could just tether it around the front axle of my car!
  9. No dealer within 100 miles of Columbus!
  10. Ok I never needed one before cause my bike was garaged. But now I'm in an apartment and have been looking at disc locks. Basically I have my choices boiled down to a Xena XX14 or an ABUS Granit Detecto. Does anybody have experience using either. I am hoping whatever I end up with is reliable with minimum false alarms. OR should I just ditch the idea and go for a Scorpio alarm? A Scorpio would cost me about 3x what an Xena/ABUS would.
  11. Got busy with work. Wanted to quit my job and go back to school. Am just about done with school and also hit my mid-life crisis lol lol!
  12. Hi y'all! Just got back into the saddle this last week after 9 yrs. Taking it easy right now since haven't ridden in a while and still breaking in the engine. Yeah yeah I break it in according to manufacturer's spec. Where does everyone ride in Columbus? Any First Thursday bike get together's or anything. I moved to Columbus in 2010 from Minneapolis.
