Yep, great day yesterday. I, Ryan and others played tag all day. Especially the last "just gonna take her easy session" of the day.
Jason Pridmore was out there with a (I think) MotoAmerica rider ... it was quite humbling to get passed by them .... they were so damn smooth and fast. They just carried higher speeds everywhere. Better riders, better equipment, better riders.
I finally got my 1098 shifting issues "sorted" by pitching the quick shifter overboard (dynojet). It's probably worth going back in and seeing what the delay time is set at and see if adjustment will get it working.

For those of you who have raced at AMA Vintage Days, what else needs to be done aside from registering with WERA? It wasn't clear if anything further needed to be done. Shot AMA an email and zero response.
Presume show up at Gate 3, get processed, and head over to the paddock.
Anybody renting a garage that is looking to share?

So, in theory, someone could rent the track for club racing IF they had their own insurance, corner workers and provide an ambulance?

I talk with Gwen at Mid O yesterday and she seemed to indicate all the bike days were open ... had figured some of the early date might be full. I registered for may 23, june 13 and june 30 to prep for Vintage Days

Hey Rusty, you working the track days this year? I'm signed up for May 23, June 13 and June 30 to get my fat arse on the track. Need someone to show me how my crappy riding can be improved ....

OK, another Q: having take a base model and built a killer out of it, do you now think that was the best approach, or would the S have been a better platfrom to start with?

I'm curious Brian ... did you sell the old bike as a street bike or a race bike?

That wasn't about commitment, it was about balls and drop kicking andrew to the curb cuz you though you were Rossi today.

It was fantastic weekend until the little ops,lol
See you all next season. -
nothing new to report on NL, suffice to say I will race there if the track surface is brought back to a condition similar to last year's ....
FWIW, last yeat when I went to Putnum I walked the tracked. I observed that over most of the track surface there were fine hairling like cracks everywhere ... the precurser to furhter surface degradation. Be curious to know how other northern clime tracks made it through the winter.
