We did this out in Idaho and Montana. Out of Boise we had a cruise every summer for someone who died before I moved there but was very involved in the forum. It was all 2 lane roads but they did a 4 hour loop and just had the rule of no passing the lead car. Only one accident / incident and that was at a stop sign where someone tapped another driver. Sucked but could happen anywhere. I will try to find some pictures but it was usually 100+ cars. Cruises were always my favorite meet type events.

I have one of the white and silver two tones. There is apparently another. One of my buddies saw it broken down on the way to honda, thought it was me. Stopped to help, then bailed when he realized it wasnt me. Im sure that person was confused.

if you are serious about importing a vehicle and dont "know a guy" then stick to things on the approved list which is available online but short. or import something 25+ years old. I can say my experience was pretty good and I got it cheaper doing it myself then you probably could from buying already stateside ones, but I spent time looking for the right car, finding a dealer I trusted in japan, filing paper work, other things and stuff.

I will be out there somewhere not sure if I head straight to sonic or try to joon the cruise in a vehicle

I may try to make it out to this, at leadt find the track and get the lay of the land

I run ebc red's and love them, they are advertised as a low dust pad, but no high performance pad is low dust. The dust they produce isnt excessive though. They have fairly good cold bite and I have not hade fade issues on them. As for reducing stopping distance, if you cannot lock up your current setup then a better pad may improve your stopping distance, however if you can lock your current setup then the tires or brake proportion is the weak link and I wouldnt expect much of an improvement.

Took the turd to a dyno day earlier this summer. It for sure runs like poo on the the stock AFM and I cant wait to go to speed density on MS. http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/cressida_Dyno.png Finally A friend of mine drifting her and popping a tire. http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/th_20130216_211646.jpg A few pictures since it got washed and most of the snow is gone. http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20140309_154742.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20140309_155340.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20140309_174423.jpg I should be getting real suspension under it soon, less sidewall, and more low and I think she will look pretty good. I She is an underpowered, bad suspension, low angle pig but she tries real hard lol. http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/42d0d718-b38c-4451-b337-c4ee89bd34f7.jpg?t=1403308813 Vimeo link (the cressidas very short appearance is at 1:50) http://vimeo.com/98447438 -
Hello, About three years ago now, A firend and I were looking for a vehicle for our first attempt at drifting. ^Well after a failed attempt at purchasing someones blown 13B FC. ^We found this little gem ready to go to the scrap yard. Picked her up as a rolling shell for $300, with no engine no trans, and some wiring in the trunk. Picked up a 7MGE out of a MX83 with quite a story behind it, i will probably elaborate later... for $500 Found a W58 for $100 Some wiring and a radiator form an MKIII in a junk yard for $60 and we had ourselves a running driving cressida. It is most likely in for some love this winter, though i have still not completely decided what direction i want to take her power plant wise. Pics of progress. When I picked her up http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/IMAG0653.jpg While she still didn't run I had her in front of a friends house and this happened, I was not amused... http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/IMAG0644.jpg Wiring, Also I have diagrams for an 86 MX73 if someone needs them http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/IMAG0065.jpg Bag of unnecessary wires http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20121209_190610.jpg First Start up (open header, she sounded mean, but my ears hurt so she got stock exhaust out of a junk yard. http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/th_20130127_123312.jpg Some engine pics http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130525_203154.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130525_205300.jpg "Interior" pictures http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130326_122448.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130326_122543.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130326_122629.jpg Cleaned up the wiring a bit (It may not look like much but the under hood fuse box is inside now and the driver side kick panel box is now in the middle, I will be running Mega Squirt so before I make it pretty I will get that installed and probably run LS2 Coils) http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130516_225727.jpg Acura RSX Seats http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130326_122647.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130411_152425.jpg Exterior pictures http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130320_194131.jpg The lowest I have ever had her http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/IMAG0016-1.jpg

It is interesting to me that there is that much hate for the splitter lol. If someone with a welder wants to help me design a venturi / skid plate i will look into incorporating an aluminum splittler, but even then if I ever take it to a road coarse i will probably run the plywood. Once I get settle and on my feet here I will be putting an f20b engine in it as the H needs to be rebuilt. And it is not fast, though it is much better both in a straight ling and cornering then it used to be. When the H was stock it ran a 15.2 @93 (really bad 60') in the quarter at 2500' and has not run since. -

Sad Lots of people run it for front splitters since they get destroyed all the time anyway. It's not for everyone though. I would like to make one out of alluminum or abs plastic but that won't happen until i build a venturi / skid plate. -

I don't think I posted these but here are the pictures from when I raised my engine. poured poly mounts that raised the front almost 1" and left the rear about stock. http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20140411_183657.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20140412_092500.jpg then hood would not close http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20140412_092548.jpg so I cut webbing so it would http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20140412_094912.jpg and although I would like it a little bit higher, something I can still achieve the oil pan and header are tucked up much better then they were before. *** Oil Leak in the picture was from an axle seal, it has been replaced *** -

Haven't done a lot, but some updates. I converted the accord to 5 lug, which means my CL ROH conversion is just sitting round being worthless . I really wish I would have just gone 5 lug in the first place as it ended up costing me less then my roh conversion did with the CL parts. http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130901_123923.jpg Same brake setup for now, just the 15vn calipers and 11.1" 23mm rotors, if these rotors warp I will upgrade to some nicer rotors but for now these will do. Here she is sitting on some prelude blades. http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20131116_112759.jpg The motivation for the mod was new wheels and tires. I picked up some Volk Super Fine Mesh and put on some Dunlop Direzza Z2 Test fit before tires http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130901_123447.jpg Tires http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130905_183026.jpg On the car http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130915_125433.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130915_143145.jpg I also picked up some Desmond Regamaster - Marquis Promada They came with pirelli tires http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20131123_170711.jpg Not quite the EVO's but hey they were the right price. I still haven't gotten the new engine, I do have hopes of getting and completing the swap this winter. -

Also yes, I painted them myself, the paint holds up ok, but it does not like tire roll. Thankfully the Regas don't really see much street time. The accord usually rolls around on these. http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/bb7d14f9-2996-4118-9e87-91f13a83e49b.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x52/ghetto-thirdworld/20130901_123447.jpg Though I'm not sure about rolling around on those for this area so I may just run my road trip 06 accord wheels for dd here. Finally, where should i be going for cars and coffee tomorrow, and is there anywhere people meet up late night?
