  1. What did you find was the easiest way to refill it? Did you pour it in at fillups often to keep it fresh?
  2. Have you been in Ohio long? Forecasters are ~Usually~ wrong. Otherwise you'd never ride because its raining when they said it wouldn;t and and when they say it would you didn;t ride and it doesn;t.
  3. Do people think turning around at the next street is instant death? Today in rush hour stopped at a freeway overpass intersection there was a car at the front in the left straight lane. I assumed they wanted in the right straight lane for the next turn and wondered why they didn;t gas it off the line to get in front of the other lane traffic. No, they wanted to cut 2 lanes over to the freeway entrance ramp turn lane with cars already speeding up to merge.
  4. I ran out a bunch while my last job scrambled my brain and I had a fuel tap with no warning light. I prefer to run out of gas on reserve than to have the tap on off and empty the fuel bowl after pulling out of the lot into speeding traffic.
  5. Happy with my Tuono. naked version same as rsv through 05. Bought it sight unseen and road it back from Texas. Added a sargent seat since then. The 01 may have a metal tank still ( +2 liters bigger), the newer ones went to plastic, They stretch out, a pain to line up bolts after removing( so did ducatis and adventure bike tanks) Motors are very reliable. If you're going to end up with an older bike and you want more comfort( I didn;t see you say that but others inferred) on put riser clip ons or stunt bars on either (with longer cables) Basicly tuono conversion. There's plenty of people wrecking them for spares. AF1 carries many parts if there's no dealer around. The mentioned bikes are nice but Not anything he's get a straight up trade on. Aprilias did't hold their value well. I guess people who are into them want a new one to subsidise sales guys. Take it for a ride and then make up your mind. Vtwins and i4s are different experiences
  6. I've been tempted to get a camping fuel bottle for on road emergency fuel. They seem relatively expensive for just a little bottle though.
  7. Member of the newbs shouldn't buy new faired bikes crew.
  8. we spent $40,000 to replace rotting wood after the landscapers let the bushes grow against the buildings. Then they replaced the bushes with the same ones just as close.
  9. There are cases of doctors being too tempted by their easy pharmacy access and a tiring job. Even starting out as students on uppers.
  10. Idiocracy & Wall-E are 2 of the most realistic movies ever made.
  11. What's the moral on free horses?
  12. If it's really sold OP should delete his cragslist ad If you offer less than the asking price that's a bit more risky of having it sold out from under you before you get to it. These come available (in ohio) every few months around the same price and mostly between 20 and 40k miles. I like the grey colored ones better. Grab one that already has a corbin seat on it as that's 1/8 the price of the bike and the original seat is 30 years old. One just sold on ebay (Cali) with a penske rear shock $2100. Need a relocation rider? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1988-Honda-Other-/171810945038?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2800baf80e&item=171810945038&nma=true&si=%252BMtCnCDMKnSD2mNGsF6s8%252BT7ixI%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

  14. May 2015 OS usage percentage xp 14.6% Win7 57.76%
  15. WIn 7 isn't out of support, just out of mainstream support and on extended support. Security patches will still be released to 2020 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/lifecycle
  16. I've heard mixed info about "free". Even on microsoft's site info is released and removed. One mention was "Free...for the first year. I went from Vista-WIN7 release candidate- Win7 Retail - Win8 release candidate- back to WIn7 Win10 Technical Preview 3 weeks now- Not happy. Maybe optional themes won't look like another reviewer put "Fisher Price" design. Also right clicking to enter the control panel separate from the "start menu" "settings" Spartan/edge/IE12 is ugly Chrome promoted to be be default browser, clicked yes, WIN10 prompted you have to go into settings/ default apps for that. Programs folder is now apps Apps are in alphabetical order with huge A B C titled sections Will Stick with Win7 or to a Linux Distro but they've all had a deal breaker or 2 in the past. Calculator is full butt ugly theres no contrast. Browser tabs, explorer windows all match the theme floating snippets of text with nothing that looks like a button Cortana pops up occasionally due to trackpad swipe gesture? or something There's no Demo it's a full install. I bought a new SSD to install it on. Sleep is quirky not sure if it's Win10 or the SSD or Dell bios bit win7 on a std hdd was fine I was waiting to buy a new computer not so excited now.
  17. The era of making tools on the internet for users is over.
  18. Ain't no US courts that fast.
  19. I think even though mine was "from" amazon since motorcycle superstore has no Ohio shop, still no tax...
  20. Lions and cars don't mix anyway. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/video/news/video-1188522/Lion-mauls-American-tourist-death-South-African-park.html
  21. I've never been a fan of amazon especially after they charged me $100 for a prime membership I never authorized and with no notification months after my first/last non-prime purchase and no record of it other than the credit card statement. I did use up some gift card credit today towards a new tire. Still no tax added yet. It's from motorcycle superstore who I could get it from directly anyway. I don't know any situations where more hands in the honey jar is better.
  22. 1000 jobs at a data center. The ones I've been to have never been that crowded.

    Touring pants

I have SLIDERS TM © all season kevlar since last fall and the liner just split so my foot goes in the wrong hold and won;t come out at the bottom. Had Olympia Airgluide 2 before as daily pants and they also slit the liner and also the pocket seam so all my change would swim around the liner.
