Rode the bike the cardiologist restricted 20 miles and put the Shimano cleats on my new Sidi Genius 7 Mega shoes. I keep saying I've turned the page on the 20 mile limitation, but it's hard, before the HA I rode 700 miles the month of June 2017. I have said it many times and it's true, if you asked me to go on a 20 mile ride I wouldn't even get dressed to go for a 20 mile ride. Got to turn the page..... glad to be alive and able to ride!

Then do what you must to collect them and exit the house? The goal is not saving the house. The goal is exiting the scenario with minimal loss of life. What happens to your family when you get shot trying to hunt down an anknown enemy? Now they are 100% defenseless because the only person with a "plan" is now dead. You have zero idea how many, what they are armed with and how serious the threat happens to be. Looking for the baddies doesn't make sense from a tactical perspective.

This goes to the actual preparedness of your family in case of an emergency. Figuring it out beforehand is what saves lives. Playing "John Rambo" when actual lives are on the line is ignorant.

Devil's advocate, I also have no idea how many are waiting outside.

Fatal funnel. We do not "clear" houses. G.I. Joe does that. Retreat to the most secure room in the house if you cannot escape. Point the barrel at the entry point for that room and call 911. Tell them where you are and that you are prepared to use deadly force.

    "Clear the house".

what if your family is spread from 1 end of the house to the other?

  5. If you are aware someone is in the house but don't have line of sight, how successful would a starter pistol be to avoid confrontation and penetration issues?  with real firepower should it escalate.

99.9% of emails from CL are bots or scammers. Eventually they will all circle around to "do you have a VIN report?" and then try to get you to use their VIN service, or try to get you to send them more photos so they can scam other people using photos of your bike.

Insist that you speak to anyone you're talking to on the phone, or get some sort of proof they are a person before you give out any info. Selling bikes online sucks.

I forgot about those. i did ask for his #. told him i was comfortable with the bike history if he wanted papers he would need to get it. If they send I link (affiliate?) I get something to report.

@Tpoppa I put vinyl wrap with a price and #. with all the head turns I normally get I think they would be better impulse buyers then the CL virtual tire kickers asking questions answered in the ad.

Getting a notary will be fun....

speaking of that, just bought this one. First exploding amazon box i've gotten. Out of the box 0% charge 🙄.Has intelligent clamp with metal pins.(weight about as much as the unit. itself..) some comments say it is the same as bdpower @Tonik but I bought it anyway.

also bought an rc hobby balance charger to measure/balance the shorai's individual cells. My manual does say to pull the main fuse if not riding for 15 days. I'm tempted to wire in a switch.

    Checking on your aprillia

Are you firm on the price or open for negotiations? Not trying to low-ball you, I promise!

Is this a millennial thing maybe that they don't know how to work to a decision/meeting?

What are the likely ramifications for China when the dust finally settles? When does the world finally get off its ass and do something about China and North Korea?

Assigning blame is the most important part of the politico-national process.

  10. Was the real goal to get all the nurses infected first for herd immunity before the bulk of the public come in?

    Though-

About half of people who have the coronavirus show no symptoms, according to data from Iceland, the Italian town of Vo, and the Diamond Princess cruise ship.

The data from those places is of particular interest to researchers because in those places even people without symptoms were tested – which is not the case in the U.S. and most countries, where desperately needed tests are reserved mostly for people who show symptoms.

That whole string kind'a reminded me of the quote from Donald Rumsfeld on Iraq and WoMDs:

    Rumsfeld stated:

"Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don't know we don't know. And if one looks throughout the history of our country and other free countries, it is the latter category that tend to be the difficult ones."

    WHAT? 😏

Here's a fun question - what the hell happens if it does come out that China manufactured this virus in a lab for research and it accidentally got out? There's no way every country on the planet says "don't worry about it man, it happens."

They may have harvested it for research where it breached but reports say markers in the virus indicated it's natural and not lab born, unless china is smart enough to put false flags in their virus
