I dont have a street bike currently and my mtb has been out of commission since last week waiting for Nashbar to ship me my new tubes and rear tire. Ran this week. I have a love hate relationship with running. I hate running and love when its over.

I dont have a road going bicycle, but all of my local friends do. I really dont want to kill this rear tire like I did the last with a lot of road riding. Trying to think of a solution.

My daughter actually found this. Personally I’m done. I’m ready  to go back to normal life. I say if you want to stay home fine. Me personally I have little fear about this stuff. I’m willing to take the chance. They tell me we don’t know enough about the virus. I say exactly. Why are we making all of these decisions without solid information. I’m not big on living in fear.

so parents will only be working 2 days a week? how less infected do you get in 2 days over 5?

This is the second time I’ve changed a tire when it was cold. Both times have sucked, but when it’s warm I’d rather be riding.

    Right tools

I have motion pro spoons, but not a no mar. The sad part is the hillbilly stuff with the truck hitch, 2x4, and deck board break the bead fairly easy. It’s the spooning off a Dunlop Roadsmart 3 that sucks.

what are you doing what them afterwards? I've sawed through the tread so you are only stretching the bead and not the sidewall. Is it really hillbilly until you are using a hammer?

This would’ve been funny if it wasn’t for the atrocious spelling. Somebody needs to create a spellcheck for meme generators.

  5. Rode the ZR  bent 24 mi. on the TJ evans trail from Newark to Johnstown. 1.5 mile from the trailhead my chain came off the single ring. As coasting to a stop I saw the chainring wobble. 3 aluminum chainring bolts were gone, 2 loose. The 2 piece spider was also loose. Glad this happened before I sold it.

Also checked out the Horns Hill downhill runs in Newark. They are no joke, steep ,gap jumps, lot of loose rock berms though.

Loved the Baron I had for several years. That is a wicked fast bike on flat roads. I was particularly fond of it when I did the Hancock Horizontal Hundred in Findlay. I didn't even noticed the head and side winds that the uprights were struggling against.

I most ride MTB or gravel these days or I would take it off your hands.

    GLWS.

    Plus they are chick magnets.
