I am sure what you don't know or understand about copyright could just about be wedged into the grand canyon. The only way something is in the "public domain" is if the copyright has expired, has been forfeited, or is on a property that would not have been copyrighted. Just because someone posted it in facebook doesn't mean it's in the public domain - in fact that is what Facebook's terms of service are: a licensing agreement for copyrighted material to be shared on that platform only.
