The orange rtv is amateur, but I wouldn't be too concerned.
It's starting to make a mess, maybe next spring I'll take it aports, and clean it up and put the proper gasket on it. None of the other parts seem to be messed with.
I also got a Hayes manual that looks well used with page markers throughout.
They guy I got it off of didn't seem seem to know much about bikes, said he couldn't keep up with his buddys "busa" and wanted something faster... I don't think the CBR I traded him will do much better than this.
I kinda wish I could talk to the original owner, I bet there is a store with this bike!

Some times ill start about there, Head south till you come to 162, then head west on 162. take 162 all the way to you get to 42 on the other side of Medina, near Chippewa then head back north, on something, Either 42, witch will take you thru Medina, But i know some backboards that will travel back north, and connect to 303 (and stay keep me away from medina traffic). Then i head back 303 (east) to home (Brunswick)

So I tore off the fairings to have a look-see inside, to make sure all is clear and correct and found that the lower drain pain has been removed. They used RTV to seal it back up. Really how hard is it to buy the correct gasket? Ugh. Now it has me wondering why they would have had the oil pain off?
Bike has 21k on it, also looking at the valve cover bolts, looks like he was already in there and checked clearance perhaps.
Am I the only one that looks over a used bike this much?
Also currently just waiting on a rear tire and it's road ready!

How much is a replacement from Suzuki? If the rest of the plastic is nice, it may be better to just buy the OEM unit. Then again.. the right upper for my bike is $985. It can stay cracked for a while.
Ya know I have been trying to find the part number for the blue, all I can find is the part number for the black one. Yet I have not called anyone yet. The black is running 350ish I think.

So... Its a GSX650F. Not a whole lot out on the internet about this bike. But i cannot figure out why it never sold well? Its very torque for the size, well planted. Very comfortable. Blocks the wind, never got hot. Whats not to love.
The bike is getting a fresh rear tire straight off. And also have some OEM turn signals in the mall to replace the squid blinkers. That right faring needs some work, but is functional for the rest of the season. Im kicking around the idea of getting a set of ebay, Chinese fairings for this thing. The Chinese crap looks good, but my past experience with them, is that they do not fit well and are a real pain to get on and off.

Back from the dead again, I have a new tire coming in the mail. Anyone in the area (Brunswick, Medina, Strongsville) still change tires. I dont feel like doing it.

Sold, How do I mark it sold?

Picture, modle of the bag? I'm kinda interested

I was the same way. So I got the CBR. In my head I was thinking really how bad could it be? And yes you test road one for like 15mins maybe? If that's the type or riding you do, it's a good fit.
Every morning I hope on my CBR to go to work, it puts a grin on my face... But about an hiur in, I'm ready to get off.
I would definitely agree with others and find a used one. If you like it, then go faster. Also consider insurance, that's going to be a surprise.

$50, one of my friends finished his up today.
I need to correct this. Ohio's is $50 for the BRS (basic Rider Course) not affiliated with MSF anymore. MSF did raise the price for a student to $100 this year, but Ohio is not recognizing MSF anymore. Motorcycle Ohio is working hard to get an advanced course together now. But the new BRS is a whole new ball game and would recommend it to everyone to take it. The last class I taught a few weeks ago had 3 "no shows". So that's 3 open seats. And they are only getting more empty this time of year, and the weather has been phenomenal!

Good. Tax the fuck out of cars. God knows they're over-subsidized in this country. That's why there are too many cars clogging the streets.
I could not agree more.... I say it all the time " bring on the 5$ gas, my bike ket 50mpg."
-
Oh, klx not a klr, lol missed that
-
Where is it at? I'll go pick it up!

I'm.going to.give you the best advice anyone ever could. Go TAKE A CLASS FIRST. I had total of 4 open seats last week so there is no excuse for not getting in. Head over to Motorcycleohio.gov and check it out. You need the BRS, Basic Rider Course. It's the best 50$ you will ever spend. And it will save your life

You guys have to ride the new Van Van... It's a fucking riot
-
The bubble ones, if you will. Don't seam to be very accurate and find difficult to see on a bike. And the phone stays in the pocket. Would love a digital one that I can see at night... And is always in front of me.

I have looked for years for a compass for a motorcycle. I am looking for something small, and digital that could be mounted on the dash, or maybe the handle bars. Having one in the car all the time has ruined my sense of direction over the years. Anyone have an idea?
-
So thats it? Just hold the rear axle down... and the bike wont move at all?

It's up and running great! It's amazing how smooth this bike is! I can not figure out why I never sold well. I believe it was only available for 2 years here in the US. And they never even sold the bandit variation here.
I drained about 1/2 quart of oil out to bring it down to the correct level. Ugh.
