2002 CBR600 F4i. Great condition. Everything is current, and up to day. Lots of new parts, including the CCT that I replaced with an OEM one. Should last quite some time. Good tires and breaks. Spring time I went through it head to toe, new fluids and filters everywhere. No scratches, and no evidence of it being down. I ride it from time to time to work, but most of the time, ill pick the Ninja 650 over this one to ride. Love the power, and the sound of the 4 cyl, but…. Idk, its just time for me to move on to the next project. Approx. 18K
I had big dreams of getting to Mid-Ohio with it. But never did. So it is in tip top shape.
I’m not too sure what I want, But I know I want something a little more comfortable. I have invasions of Ninja 300’s or R3. I would also like a Supermoto of some sort. An SV650 would be nice, or anything along those lines. I do really want something fuel injected, although a DRZ400 would not be out of the question. I’m really just getting to old to ride this thing. No cruses please, I’m not that old yet. I also have a couple of track day passes to toss in to boot, even some cash if I need to. This is a good opportunity for someone with a smaller bike to upgrade.

This is where my wife's ninja came from last year. I hate them. Although I hate all dealerships. They are all out to make money, not friends.
Was this bike new or used? If it's new I would be having g words with the manufacturer.

I just picked up a 400ex, and was wondering what options i have for trails. I now live just south of Cleveland, but grew up in North central ohio (Willard, ohio) on a farm. Never actually trucked the quads anywhere.
What options are around, and what does it take to ride there? Such as registrations, passes, and whatnot?+
Thanks
Dustin

I get people coming thru my BRS class to get an M endorsement to dive this thing... Any boy do they have no idea how to ride a bike... And by all means, they don't need to. It looks like a car, sounds like a car, stinks like a car, it's a freaking car. Why Ohio makes you have an M endorsement is beyond me.

If you want dead nuts cheap and freaking reliable.... Look at an 08-11 focus. I have 2011 manual 5 speed and absolutely beat the crap out of it and it's lasted 125k now with very minor issue. There is no single part on that thing that cost over 20 bucks. I once walked away from a complete engine n tranny deal, guy was asking 300 bucks.... Still kicken my self for not buying it.
Now put the with in a new focus back in 2014, and I have not been impressed. But never the less, still an ok car, but steer clear of the 3rd generation autos, the dual clutch ones are plagued with issues.

Congrats on the new addition to the family! We had a similar situation with my wife and our first, she was in labor for hours and pushed for quite a while as my son got stuck and every time she pushed his heart rate would sound like it was going to stop. In her case they had to get the spoons out and give him a pull when she pushed and then he came through. It was a scary situation for a few minutes as he was blue and wasn't breathing, they started on him right away and then you heard his first cry and I just about passed out. I am glad to hear mama and son are doing good!
Yes true! I listened to his heart beat for a full day and then you notice drop during pushes... So terrifing... Me and the wife think he may be an only child at this point.

The chat box had a few questions as I was posting, so I'll start a thread in here.
My first child was born 12.57am on the 27th. After a very long and painful labor.
He got stuck on the way out, issues with the cord and they swept my wife away to the OR after 4 unsuccessful pushes. Baby heart rate drop, scary low.
Guys, it's amazing what they can do here. In just 9 of the most terrifing mins , they had my wife over to the OR, strapped down to a different bed and drugged up and the baby was out and they were "working" on him. Cut-to-birth was under minute, as the Dr puts it.
I was able to hold him for a few seconds right after he was out, but quickly ran him down to NICU, to stabliz him.
Cofer is now doing well, but is still in NICU. He should be released in less than a week. He bounced back quickly with fluids.

I hear nothing but bad stuff about these bikes, but this looks like a new generation. Maybe they turned stuff around. Hyosung has tuff competition at this price.

How's this? 2004 ZZR 600, 4500 miles, $2500
I had a 1996 zx6e, which is what this is.... Comfy, fast bike. Great riding position, and like every Kawasaki i have ridden, the transmission is very smooth, and solid shifting.... But they do tend to blow out 2nd gear quit often. And it's expensive to fix, if you can even get parts.
Interesting note, Kawasaki sold both the ninja zx6e and the zx6r, in the 90's and early 2000's... But the tail section of the bike said, "ZX6R" on both....A LOT of people thought they had an "R" .... But they were WAY different.

Hard to tell from the audio, I have a newer ninja 650, and it sound similar I would say. I wouldn't be to concerned about it.... Check valve clearance and ride on.

Ya know... I bet if thet would have asked an officer to assist before they ever meet up, they would have been turned down. Asking for a VIN over the phone would spook them, as stated above.
Can get a cop to come with you...
If you blow this opportunity to catch them now, and they get away then what?....
If it were me I would have took a good look at the bike, disabled it somehow, so it wouldn't start, pull a plug wire, kill wire something, then sent someone away, to set in the car and call police to get them there as fast as possible.
Trick is to make sure the bike cannot be easily started, and to get police there unknownly

Got the new water pump installed on the F4i, and pored the coolant back in the the wife drove up and was forced to quit. Didn't get a chance to start it...... Ugh.. even it's only 30mins of work, at least it's progress.

3-5k$ for medical isn't squat with how the cost of medicine has increased. Hell, my medical insurance company just got hosed for the tune of $3,500 for a routine 20 minute office visit for a skin checkup which found no problems. The elephant in the room has gotten out of hand.
The additional medical payments is in addition to you medical insurance... As stated above it covers what insurance will not

Glad you had the extra coverage... But shouldn't your medical insurance step in and pay this? I like to have the medical payments coverage with the auto, to cover the gap between... Such as the deductible that will need to be paid if something were to happen.

So my insurance company (State Farm) just informed me that they do not offer medical payments as an option on motorcycles in the state of Ohio. I swear that my policy had this a few years ago, and it just disappeared .
So who has medical payments ($3000-5000) and what company are you using?

So does it still say its for motorcycle use on the bottle? @Tonik

Here is an update to the lift, im almost finished with the Bike Vice. It works OK. I should have used square tubing, as opposed to the L angle. No where near me sells square tubing. I needed like 1x2 square that would be ideal.
It still holds the bike well, and the addition of a swing arm lift makes it really secure. No straps needed. But I did add the u-bolts that were supplied with the lift, but put them underneath. I figured if i ever needed to use them, they would serve there purpose there. If not, I can flip them over. Ill never find them again if i put them anywhere else.
In the photos the lift is on the lowest lock point. If you raise the bike all the way up to the top lock point, its really to high. It also make me nervous up there. Really tho, lifting the table all the way up makes for a nice bench with no bike on it.
And when i dont need the lift, i can zip the bolts out of the bike vice, (welded nuts on underneath) and park the truck right over top of it.

So on this beautiful February day I decided to invest in a lift table. Great little table from harbor Freight for around 300 bucks. But I hate the wheel vice on it, so I immediately started to hack into it when i got it home. I am still in the process of fabricating a new Wheel vice that would allow one person to easily load and lock a bike.
