  1. Rock River Arms LAR-9.(also available as a 40 S&W version)

Lower forward item on rail-NcSTAR red & green laser.

Upper rearward item on rail-AIM red dot sight.

Sling is 1" from a fabric shop, available sling lenghts are too short for my liking.

Rubber on both grips are lenghts of motorcycle tube to eliminate the 'plastic feel' and provide a non-slip grip. The 2 pieces on the foregrip also hold/retain the laser switch,a very natural grip actuates the laser.

Since they're both mounted 'in-line' on the rail, there's no parallax problem. Laser for 'close',red dot sight for 'far',or both together.

  2. I've been 'photoshopping' for 15 years now, never used any kind of tutorial.

'file' 'open' a pic file and start playing.

make sure you have a 'backup' copy of the pic you're gonna play with in case you accidentally delete it.

photoshop files, once you start working with layers,can/should only be saved as 'PSD' files.

'edit' 'undo' will take you back to previous image.

  3. 5 years ago,silver was $6 per ounce,600% in 5 years.

A recommendation for buying silver, bullion 1,5,&10 oz. bars and in the coins,1964 JFK 90% halves and 1965-1967 JFK 40% halves, other US coins and Silver Eagles you're also paying a coin/collectable premium above the silver premium. With the mentioned JFK halves,if silver were to become worthless, you still have the US money.

  4. I've had 4 10mms',a megastar-crap,Colt Double Eagle-nice gun but too collectable to shoot and enjoy,2 S&Ws'-both were good, only got a S&W 1006 left.I'd put 10mm in the same class as 357Mag & 44Mag,a great cartridge. Most(maybe all)of the ammo available is weak compared to what the 10mm was intended for. The only potent factory ammo is Norma(very expensive when you foind it),one of the original loaders for 10mm. There's specialty ammo being made to take the 10 to where it should be. I reload and chronograph,so I can take it to 'full loads' .

    AR15armory has a forum dedicated to 10mm.

  5. When Beretta stopped production of the Cougar, machinery and tooling was shipped to Turkey where the Cougar production continued under the Stoeger name. Should be same quality. I've got a Beretta 40 Cougar, nice midsize.
  6. I put the 700 price in knowing there'd be offers.I had a PM concerning the AR,he asked is it negotiable,I asked how low did he want to go,he never responded,so I guess you're next in line.

It hasn't been fired, can't prove that. I picked up a DPMS 'sportical' so this one has become expendible.

    Yeah,I'd take 600 for it.

  8. I would rate the Rock River higher than DPMS.

The company that owns DPMS also owns Remington,Marlin,H&R,Bushmaster,& Dakota.

    Gun shows,in 09 I picked up a DPMS 16" SS bull barrel for 700+tax and in 2010 I picked up a DPMS 'sportical' 16" for 700+tax.
