  1. Yeah I really didn't think you did! And thanks John! I can't wait.
  2. I watched this. I learned a couple things. Luckily I already knew half of it. I will watch it a few more times. Thank you for the great suggestion! Also, Is this how you learned to do a stoppie?
  3. Thanks guys! I also took these yesterday. After all the years I've been riding, I am sad to say, that these are the first pics I've ever taken while on a ride. Taken at West Branch state park.
  4. Ok I just registered for a class in highland hills on the 13th.
  5. I should have time this weekend to do some more research on locations and try to get registered for a class. Sounds like fun!
  6. Yeah I looked those up and found out you can use their supplied bikes, learn something, and get a test waiver for your endorsement. I should have more time in the next few weeks. Anyone ever tell you guys that you're all crazy?
  7. The first bike I ever bought was from Hardings Park Cycle 20 years ago. I always look at that place first when looking to buy a new bike. They have always treated me right. Anyway, very nice bike.
  8. Dang talk about some bruising. Looks like the swelling went down some. Hope you Have a speedy recovery!
  9. It is in the manual, you're right. I'll just go with my gut feeling and ride the way I have been away from traffic, as much as I can.
  10. Yes gearing up is the first thing I did. And I figured my chances of getting pulled over were very slim as long as I don't do anything to create attention. I can also play the "nobody told me that part". Because seriously, nobody told me about the permit rider rules. So, no takers? I can ride and use the controls without thinking about it.
  11. As someone with only a permit I'm kind of limited where I can ride. One of the restrictions is "No riding on interstates or congested roads". I understand the interstate part, but what is considered a congested road exactly? Common sense tells me not in a downtown city environment. So, should I really be worried about that or? With that being said, would anyone around Ravenna be up for a ride suitable for a newly permitted rider?
  12. Some on GSM some on CDMA networks. but yes most phones will work, may need to force network addresses for data to work. Phones will need to be clear of any contracts, cleared to use on any other network.
  13. I've been here about a week and I can't stop refreshing. All you guys seem really cool, and seem to be good friends. Happy to be here.
  14. I usually wear medium items, and I need a jacket and pants. Have everything else. However I just remembered I don't have registration or insurance for the bike yet. So, that in itself will be a no go. Thanks for the idea though.
  15. Man I wish I had all the gear to ride, So wanna go do this thing. Oh well there will be other rides. Have a safe and fun trip fellas!
  16. Thanks for the warm welcomes
  17. Hey I'm new to this concrete riding thing. Grew up riding in the dirt, motocross, bikes and quads. All my riding buddies have moved on to raising kids. Looking for people to ride with.
