    Remembering 911

I had just gotten back a few months earlier from the Navy and started my first day on the job as a delivery driver for the parts department at Metro Chevy (now Germain Chevy) and heard this on the radio. Howard Stern was describing it on the air, and I thought this was a sick joke, even for him. Then my dad called me and told me to go find a TV, and it happened I was doing a delivery near my apartment, so I went home and the ex was watching it. That's when I saw the second plane hit. It was the weirdest fucking thing seeing no air traffic, especially living near the flight path of Port Columbus.
  2. Give it to someone with a Paypal account, go write a check, or go get a money order.
  3. $25 for SMs. PM me for the link, I don't do cash bullshit.
  4. My Formula > all of your cars combined
  5. To be serious, my main desktop PC I do all of CR everything with and run 99% of whatever: Generic ATX mid-tower case Generic 400w PSU (4) colored cooling fans (1) bigass colored cooling fan Pentium IV 2.4 Ghz Generic Mobo 1GB PC2700 RAM (2 x 512MB) Nvidia GeForce FX5500 HP 2x DVD-RW 40GB HDD (My Documents) 80GB HDD (MP3s) 120GB HDD (60GB partitions x2; OS & wife's documents) Dual 17" Dell LCD monitors That's it. Three years ago I'd give a shit about PC this or that. Now, I don't. I've got 400 other things in life that take priority, and my car comment from earlier still stands
  6. I don't even know if I'll make it due to my recent custody BS and having to take all of my remaining days off to be with the kids. On the plus side: 1) Chris is being kind enough to take the time to help runs things, but people will need to step-up like they did in the spring and take some responsibility for helping with the event. Chris does not have to do jack shit and he is, so respect that. 2) I have an equipment install scheduled in Louisville that week, which *should* only take Monday-Thursday, which means I can be home Thursday night and take Friday off for Norwalk pending no surprise issues. This isn't guaranteed as my job is full of strange twists, but I'll keep my fingers crossed. We still need six people at full price, or nine SMs by the 14th. Better get cracking. I need to cancel the event by 5pm this Friday to refrain from having to pay a non-refundable deposit.
  7. Four laptops and six desktops. My cars are faster than yours, too.
  8. That explains part of the problems, always use a reputable clutch setup. Especially with our cars. Also, did they bleed the hydraulic system after the install? That needs done, and they should have upgraded to the LS6 hydraulics at the least. If not, he can get away with the hole mod in the slave cylinder line. That will also solve some of the grinding problems between fast gear changes.
  9. No, it's hydraulic. It's supposed to let off right off the floor, as opposed to what you'd feel in your Mustang. It's normal.
  10. It's worth every penny when his wife is crawling around inside the car on a hot, sweaty, summer day
  11. 2.5" w/ bullets, true duals. When I get around to it, I'm gonna upgrade to a 4" as well, but back to a y-pipe configuration..
  12. I run mine out the sides in front of the rear axle. No problems here.
  13. Moved and edited title for appropriate content. I hope they take care of you.
  14. Ok, I'm moving this to the Sponsor section. Berto, PM Derek aka TurboRust and see what he can do for you.
  15. Finally got the video from Mark, converted it, and uploaded it to YouTube.
  16. I thought you were dead or something
  17. Mike and Steve are badasses when it comes to these LSX cars. I hope they can make one of the Norwalk days again, it's always a good time watching them.
  18. I was stuck on an airplane. This weather sucks anyways, me and the daughter are staying at home watching drag racing.
  19. Gotta love that paraffin wax in your engine. I use Mobil One in everything I own (synthetic in the Formula, 5000 mile Drive Clean in the V6 and GTP) and a Delco filter. $12.99 doesn't cover that.
  20. It's not the LS2, which is the aluminum 6.0L. It's probably the LQ9, which is the iron 5.3L truck block.
