  1. After the ASR/CR car show, some of us stuck around for the burnout contest offered up by the management at Advance Auto Parts using their brand new parking lot. Well, we had a good time then got pretty beaten up by the weather. Enjoy The initial burnout. Brian (V8 BEAST) and I lined them up. He kinda took off , so I did enough smoke for both of us. This is the disappearing car act. The parking lot where I did my burnout. The patches are still smoking and rubber was thrown at least ten feet behind my car, not to mention on top of my car, in front of my car, and in my car. Those marks will be there for a long time. My car afterwards. The video says it all. Cobras can do burnouts, too. Halbert joins the actions and suprisingly doesn't wheelhop his car to death

That last pic of my car, that's a huge res pic. How big of a poster would that make?
  3. Jason was the Friday the Thirteeth series. Michael Myers represents Halloween.

You don't need a line-lock, just a better rear suspension
  5. They weren't producing 103s today, and I can only score so many spark plugs :lurk:
  6. Exactly, it's a PITA and not worth the trouble unless your job requires it (CPA, Attorney, Teller, etc.).
  7. Thanks. Introduce yourself next time. I'll be there next Saturday for the monthly CR Cruise-In
  8. Looks like everyone you just posted about isn't supposed to be a Notary anymore.
  9. REMOVAL FOR RECEIVING EXCESS FEES. (R.C. 147.13) A notary public who charges or receives for a notarial act or service a fee greater than the amount prescribed by law, or who dishonestly or unfaithfully discharges any official duties as notary public, shall be removed from office by the court of common pleas of the county in which the notary public resides, upon complaint filed and substantiated, and the court shall certify the removal to the secretary of state. The person so removed shall be ineligible for reappointment to the office of notary public. Fees. A notary public is entitled to the following fees: For taking and certifying acknowledgments of deeds, mortgages, liens, powers of attorney, and other instruments of writing, and for taking and certifying depositions, administering oaths, and other official services, the same fees as are allowed by law to clerk of county courts for like services. Ohio Revised Code, Sec. 147.08 Under present law, the “fees allowed by law to clerk of county courts for like services” amount to $1.50 for taking and certifying one signature on an affidavit and $2.00 for acknowledging all instruments in writing. THE MAXIMUM FEE THAT A NOTARY CAN CHARGE IS $2.00 PER SIGNATURE ON AN ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND $1.50 PER SIGNATURE ON AN AFFIDAVIT.
  10. Lol, it's buried on the driver's side between the radiator and engine block, under the upper radiator hose, positioned just adjacent to the ABS block, fuse block, and headlight controller module It takes two hours and two people to change a supercharger belt

I thought about going to my brother's house down the way from Advance and borrowing his Trailblazer until I could come back later to grab my car, but that meant I would have had to find somewhere to double back and I was already past Wilson Road on I-70. Thanks for checking on me, I was already on the East Side when you called, but had just hit the second storm cell and started the sliding process all over again. Time for new DRs I guess, and these were my lucky ones I wish Brian would answer his damned phone so I can get my laptop back and upload the damned videos.
  12. My car. Not as fast as yours, but we're still in the same time bracket, ass

I won the burnout contest Advance held, and got a t-shirt. I've also left permanent holes in their new parking lot that were smoking after I was done, have no tire left, and had to nurse my car home at 45mph across town in this tornado weather while still sliding across the road. It was like driving on ice, and braking hard when people slammed on theirs sucked due to skinnies. Definitely a memorable experience to say the least. Vids to come soon.
  14. Correct. It's like $4 or $7 or some shit, anything more and the State will strip their Notary rights.
  15. I have a Firebird with a misfiring #5 cylinder. Heads-up, Sam for $500? LOCKED, run it through buckeye first.
  16. That's great, but do a little more research and use the appropriate section next time, please.
  17. I've grabbed 104s, 605s, and 606s since that's what I run in my cars. Joe, I moved from TR-6s to 104s years ago and didn't notice a slight bit of difference. What "performance" differences did you see?
  18. What part of Autolite, Motorcraft, AC Delco, and Splitfire, do you guys not understand that does not associate with NGK? It's amazing that some of you can even comprehend what a spark plug is.
  19. Ok, enough with the sleep apnea posts for now (even though I started the idea). Let's help Chris' family and friend's get back on track. I've made and stickied a topic in here if anyone would like to help CR with a flower arrangement for his family.
  20. If anyone would like to donate some funds to send flowers to Chris' mother on behalf of CR, please send your money via Paypal to accounting@columbusracing.com To whomever is assisting her with the arrangements, please PM me the contact info as to where/who I can have the flower arrangement sent to. Thanks.
  21. They produce Autolite, Ford Motorcraft, AC Delco, and Splitfire. The first three all get produced from the same machine. I work on the equipment that applies the different branding and coding. So there, pretty much all spark plugs are the same. Literally.
  22. I have confirmed this is the truth and not a prank or misinformation of any type. Chris had not been heard from in several days, so a couple of his friends went to his house and kicked his door down last night about 11pm where they found him dead where he apparently had passed in his sleep. The authorities are still attempting to reach his mother who lives in Florida and are pending an autopsy to find the cause of death. Again, this is very sad and I feel for his friends and family. Whether or not he had the best repoire with CR in the past, he was still a part of the local automotive community and that made him a part of CR and everything we're here for. Thanks everyone.
