Yeah, For as many 2nd gens as Ive worked on, I know I wouldnt ever want to take on that swap.. Dont know about you Chad... though I think I read somewhere that someone has done it...Road Race, or someone... maybe Hahn....been a while...Think I read it on DSMTuners one time.....getting old I guess..

Sigh... not without cutting the front of a turbo car off and welding it onto the nonturbo...please look it up...lots of experiance here... belive me...it is cheaper to junk the non turbo and by a turbo 2nd gen...The WELDED mounts on the BODY of the car are NOT interchangeable..period.

Started out with a Twin turbo 300zx...went through a couple of those and various family cars, now I drive an 05 GTO as my DD and still have a 91 Twin turbo 300zx..but Im moving more into the bike scene now with an 04 R1..... sorry.. check your info again...if it came non turbo it stays non turbo.... body to engine mounts( that are welded) are different....go talk to the guys at Columbus DSM..you are wrong. Unless they have changed the 2nd gen since I worked on them... ( which they havent) Not to mention the fuel system is totally different... all the wiring is wrong( um 420as are dodge motors hence chrysler connctors, and the ecu is under the hood on the NTs just like a neon..... now if it were a 1st gen it would be no problem but no go on a 2nd gen. But I forgive you since the last 1st gen rolled off the assembly line when you were like what? 6ish....

you cant put a 4g63 into a non turbo 2nd gen......

Heya all, listing the Vette again here just in case anyone is interested, or has a trade in mind..after realizing that I have WAY too many cars that are semi impractical and having a second baby a couple days ago, I decided that If I could get an interesting trade for the vette id take it.. first off I wouldnt sell this car for less than 7000 so that should kind set the mood for the sorta trades im looking for.. Ill give a quick run down on the car and detailed lists of mods and pics avalible upon request. 88 vette manual trans black with black leather all options z52 sport suspension 93 vette rims with brand new 0 mile tires front and rear 134k on chassis 74kish on rebuilt 350 lotsa mods ( full Polished Liginfelter super ram upper intake with a ported accel lower,TPIS coated long tube headers,no cat, Flowmaster cat back{sounds awesome},comp cams 1.6 ratio roller rockers, bbk fuel pressure reg, MSD 6AL ignition, MSD wires and coil,Centerforce dual friction cluth new in box,Walbaro 255lph fuel pump,auto meter mini shift light on column)lots more as well. car ran 12.9s with 1.9 short times...better launch would help things plus I never installed this new clutch... Im looking for any kind of trade with decent worth except for commuter type cars..( you know what i mean). a bigger luxury type car thought it may be older would be nice..any kind of SUV would work as well.. anyhow hit me up on my email for quickest response. got a NOS kit for the l98/lt1 for sale... bought it for my vette and never installed it... most of the kit is still in the shrink wrap... just opened a few parts to look at. also bought the throttle body plate that holds dual foggers. that alone was 150 bucks... so you get the kit, 10 lb bottle, jets for a 100 shot and the throttle body plate... lookin for 450..kit has never been installed, bottle has never been filled... email me Twinturbozwv@yahoo.com Tom

got a 400 for sale. I tore it down to check it out. has an aftermarket cam, double roller timing set, Edelbrock performer aluminum intake, and a Quadrajet off a 68 Vette that goes with it. numbers say its out of a 71 Impala 275 hp version. looking for 500. lemme know, possibly Ill deliver it to columbus area... just taking up space in my garage, was going to put it in my Vette but decided to go Forced induction instead of all motor. This thing will need a gasket kit minimum and I suggest a rebuild. Tom

All Z's were lsd's..... differance is in the gearing. NAs were 4.10 ish and tts are 3.73 ish...thats why tt guys switch to the NA rear for drag racing... Tom
