  7. Actually, that's not true. If she is a minor and standing next to a gaming machine or table, you can bet security will be there in the near future to ask for ID. The casinos are pretty lax out there when it comes to minors walking through. But if they stop and watch gaming for longer than a minute or so, security will come and tell you to leave. Well, they should. Vegas is a lot more lax than Reno. In Reno a number of years ago, my daughter stopped to watch my wife and I play a slot machine for about 30 seconds and a security guard showed up and said we could be fined $10K if she did not keep moving. He was cool about it, but dead serious...

  14. Bullshit. It's about what you know, not how many degrees you have or who you know. That person you know might get you an interview or even hire you. But if you can't do the job, they'll find someone who can. And all college degrees show employers is that you spent some money and put in the time and effort required for a degree. I have a college degree, yet I have never gone to an interview where they ask me about my degree and what I did in college. All they care about is what I know and what I can bring to the table. A college degree can only really get you in the door for entry level jobs, unless you have a MBA, PHD, etc.. Beyond that, it's what you learn and how you apply yourself that mean the difference in how far you go and what you do. My career has never been about who I know and what they did for me. My $0.02... graemlins/nod.gif

  18. Not everyone has easy access to a lift so they could pull their engine from underneath. I think what Brian's trying to say, is in the comfort of his own garage with a cherry picker, he could pull the engine in his '86 out in no time... graemlins/nod.gif
