  1. Anyone here work somewhere in the Dublin/Powell area that can do the brakes on my Mountaineer? I'd do it myself, but it's so MF'ing cold out right now. They were done about 30K miles ago, but I'm getting some bad metal on metal noises coming from the rear. I need it fixed ASAP as it's one of my winter beaters... smile.gif
  2. Damn, they took the video down. Did anybody save it, I can host it... smile.gif Edit: I found it and rehosted it... smile.gif [ 16. December 2004, 03:48 PM: Message edited by: Wease ]

  4. Probably between 6 - 8 PSI or so. That's my guess... graemlins/thumb.gif
  5. You selling the Cobra or adding something else to the stable?
  6. You got that right... http://www.ls2.com/forums/images/smilies/usa2.gif
  7. What about those 80's looking, leg warmer thingy's? Anybody seen those yet? Those are big time graemlins/gay.gif

    Winter Projects?

Parting out the Formula and selling it. Next car will be either an 04 Cobra or 02 - 03 Z06. graemlins/thumb.gif Nothing much else planned for any of the other cars...
  9. Oh yeah, it's got those. Like I said, everything but the online navigation and the sensor thingy... graemlins/thumb.gif
  10. I mean middle row of seats, the seats you access by opening the 2nd doors. You can have 2 bucket/captains chairs with a large console between them or it can be a 1/3 / 2/3 split bench seat. I have the bench seat. With my dogs, it's easier to have that seat... smile.gif
  11. Yes, another vehicle added to my fleet. I bought a 2000 Lincoln Navigator yesterday from Krieger Lincoln Mercury in Dublin. I considered trading in my Mountaineer, but decided against it. I had enough cash to put down that would just about pay it off, so I decided to pay it off instead of getting rid of it. It's been very reliable and I don't mind driving it as a beater so the wife can enjoy the 'Gator. The Navigator is loaded, about the only options it doesn't have are Online Navigation and the rear backup "you are about to hit something" sensor. Power everything, including pedals and seat/mirrors memory settings. Climate control, split bench seat (instead of the captain's chairs), 4WD, trip computer, CD changer, Apline stereo, even the air suspension that most Lincolns come with. Probably forgot a few things, but that's what sticks out in my head right now. I'll post pics later, once I get some good ones in the daylight. Oh, and if anyone's interested in my 1989 Dodge Colt for a good beater car (34 - 42 MPG!), send me a PM... smile.gif
  12. Damn, sorry to hear that...
  13. "Drifting" is another excuse that Ricers use when they get their ass handed to them on the street. As in "My car isn't built for drag racing, yo. It's built for drifting." At this point I've lost interest and decided not to remind him that he's driving a FWD Civic...
  14. Negative on Walmart, they don't sell them there. The guy didn't know what the hell I was talking about either. Should have called first, wasted a trip over there...
  15. I'll check Walmart, those are probably the cheapest... smile.gif
  16. I need one. My Mountaineer is throwing codes and I want to see what they are and erase them. Yes, I know you can get it checked at Autozone, etc. but I want to buy one because I want it other reasons as well. I've seen them on EBay for like $40, but I want to buy one like now... smile.gif
  17. Yes, another ad for IT jobs. smile.gif This is a full time position at a medical management company in the Worthington area. It's a senior position which requires at least a solid 8 - 10 years of development. College degree or equivalent experience required. Skills desired include ASP (VBScript), ASP.NET (C#), SQL Server / Transact SQL, XML, XSLT, Javacript, and HTML. You must be able to come right in and do this kind of work, no train as you go. Please reply here and/or PM me if you are interested. And yes, you will probably work for me...
  18. Great thread. Eric, I've never agreed with you more on anything than what you've said in this thread... graemlins/thumb.gif
  19. How does your arm feel today?
  20. What a load of crap. The only thing that would have helped those people is the guy not being behind the wheel of a car in the first place. Instead of this black box shit, what they need to do is start retesting senior citizens for their driver's license every couple of years and keeping people that do not belong behind the wheel off the road...
  21. Please don't take what I posted to mean that I thought Robert Smith was dragging OSU's name through the mud. It was meant that ESPN and everyone else is interviewing anyone who ever looked at an OSU jersey and getting their take on the situation. It just doesn't look good for the University...

I think most dealerships use www.kbb.com. At least that's what I've been told and it's the one I always use. You can also get values off of www.edmunds.com and www.kbb.com... smile.gif
