  1. .89 a gallon, my car at the time got about 8 miles per gallon...
  2. Probably needs a head job, the intake gaskets on those motors are prone to leak and cause an overheat problem. Definately pull the valve covers and look for any issues before going to far though, no sense in pulling the heads just to find you need a motor. Otherwise, pulling the heads isn't a bad job, if you can do it on a small block you can do it on the 3.1/3.4 motors. Make sure you have the fuel line o-rings on hand where the line goes into the rail, I have lost one nearly everytime.
  3. agreed.... Bad Ass Black Buick needs to chill... Powers probably knows more about Tilley's car than Tilley does, I think he has a right to comment...
  4. it feels like it is going to fly apart because they are unbalanced as hell. it'll handle rpm's... trust me
  5. Nobody I've asked can tell me a good reason why, I just hear lots of "Don't go there," or "I've heard bad stories about that place," but nothing to back anything up. If there are just empty, unbacked rumors about the place than I am going to give my business to them, because I trust Brett's work very much. If anyone can tell me a good REASON, (not a RUMOR) to not go there, then I will go elsewhere.
  6. I'm looking to get a turbo upgrade, clutch, injectors, etc. for my 1986 944 turbo... what would be a good shop here in columbus to perform the work? I'm thinking about IPS motorsports...
  7. c'mon... someone wants to have a spare on hand...
  8. I have a low mileage front drive First Gen (1991) DSM tranny for sale. It shifted great, has absolutely no damage, other than being a little greasy. It was removed from a '91 Plymouth Laser RS turbo. It comes with a nearly new ACT throwout bearing installed. I am really hurting for cash, so I'll sell it for $200 delivered (In Columbus, that is). I have quite a few other DSM parts laying around, so if you have any questions, please email me at: LysingerCustomAutomotive@hotmail.com
  9. Can anyone tell me exactly how to tell the difference between a 1G and a 2G exhaust manifold of a DSM if they are both off the car? I have one of each sitting on my workbench and don't know which is which... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jason
  10. damn, i want those brakes for my porsche... not that it needs them...
