Let me ask you this.. why bring manufacturing back to the US? If you are talking about jobs and bringing money back to the US, I can name one cash crop that would probably provide more jobs and money for the government than manufacturing jobs would, if only it were legalized.

This is something that actually interests me... YES. Honestly, I don't have the slightest clue what either of my cars would run in a mile. With a 4.88 R&P in the AE86 I'll probably run out of gear before the end of the mile lol. The VR6 is a different story...

5mge has the common leaky headgasket issue near the 6th cylinder that you should look for, but that's an easy fix. Otherwise there aren't any other issues you should worry about aside from the already stated rust and etc.. Of course most of these have seen more than 15 years of elements and have a hundred thousand miles by now, so you ought to stick with something that has been well maintained and taken care of.

The only track days CR holds are all at national trails, which some of us could give two shits about. Host more auto-x or lap days at a local track and I might care a little bit more to show up. Tell me I can't be on this website because I don't attend CR's lame GTGs that hardly anyone shows up to, anyways, and I'll just laugh at you. The forums are here to keep us connected as a community, not as elitist fags.
