lol, I had to learn how to avoid speed bumps and figure out how to get up my driveway after lowering my MR-S. The pinch welds are literally ~3-4 inches from the ground and that makes it near impossible to get over any speed bump. Gotta learn to watch the road when driving like that.. I could probably tell you where every pothole, bump or speedbump is on the east side of columbus to downtown.
Actually, the way coilovers are made anymore(including your Megans), strut travel isn't changed by how low you set them. This is because the coilover body or bracket itself is what is adjusted, instead of the collars which hold the spring. So what I'm saying is, really his car doesn't ride any worse than yours . Hell, if he's got some high end coilovers, it might even ride better than yours.
