  1. I'm running FK PowerTech coilovers.. discontinued but probably the best of what FK made for the MKIV VW. Quite nice considering most coilovers for VWs don't even have dampening adjustment, but these have it all. The spring rate I am quite unsure of, but they are a linear coil so always better than running progressive anything(apparently they don't disclose springrates to public, but I know it's around 400+lbs from previous research). In my opinion I'd say they're not soft by any means, but definitely not terribly stiff. The dampening alone can make a big difference in the behavior of the ride, but in comparison to all of my coilovers, they're probably the softest thing I've driven on. In my Corolla I was running 8kg front and 7kg rear(roughly 480lbs and 400lbs), which is pretty stiff for a car that weighed maybe 2000lbs? I've made a couple trips to Hocking Hills at my current lowest point and had no problems getting around, just a little rubbing on high speed turns where there would be more Gs.
  2. Possible, 270 heading towards 670? I saw what looked like a lowered e30 on meshies.. If so, yeah that was me.
  3. I was about to be pisst.. I can't get off CR without some kind of closure.

  9. I was never a fan of the Thruxton in red because black or silver seems to be a traditional look, but it is pretty baller.
  10. It looks like this one has the same setup as well, but I can't confirm.. dead sexy bike though. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2072/2060334530_35292ab4f5.jpg?v=0
  11. The hate is strong with you today. I know you love drifting so drop the act kenneth. Oh, got something for you. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1344/1344412061_79871954de.jpg?v=0 Here's link for another owner with 120/180 tire setup- doesn't exist, right? Suck my dick, kindly.
  12. Read my quote again.. I high-lighted the part that indicates I notice the black wheels and the seat cap. Chrome is common on Cafe style bikes, are you kidding? I wouldn't get out of hand with the chrome like most ugly cruisers, but I would definitely go with the black wheels but add a little bit more chrome on the engine and various small details on the bike, but that's about it.
  13. Did it last year, down again this year.
  14. Actually, it's my favorite bike.. More or less what Kenny's brother built, except a little bit more chrome pieces and a bunch of unique little things to set mine apart from the rest.
  15. GAHHHHH, That Thruxton is fucking sexy.

    TURBO

Please, look at the 90 degree charge pipe..
  18. I forgot we're dealing with a GM Not as easy as I would expect.
  19. We understand that. The clicker only does what the switch tells it to. It's not going to click unless it's getting a voltage from the turn signal switch. If the switch is faulty or shorting your clicker will click. Replace the switch and be done with it
  20. Generally it's not the clicker itself, but rather the switch in the column as stated. Replace the switch with a known good unit and see where that gets you. I don't know specifically what you'd be dealing with, but it's usually nothing more than taking the covers off the column, unplug the turn signal switch, and replace the old with new and reassemble.
