Wow, so much animosity towards cyclists. Calm down killer, I'm not riding anywhere near major roadways because I know how dangerous it is. Lately I've been riding the bike path that starts right off Stelzer road near the chiller and from my understanding continues on, all the way out through westerville and on to Delaware. However, there aren't paths and sidewalks everywhere so you have to carefully continue on the road until you can get somewhere like that.. so be patient with bikers, most like myself, only do it when we have to. Great looking bike.. did you pick that one up at one of the TREK Superstores? I have one right near my house on Hamilton and I believe I was looking at similar bikes.. $$$$. What side of town are you on, we'll go riding sometime if you're free.

How did he know it was dude's girlfriend..? Do you think they know eachother in person and have beef with eachother and he took that opportunity to pwn him?

I have a red one laying around

Good question.. I wonder if by signing a waiver they are relieved of any damage done to a vehicle, including something like this? I would imagine any good shop would have some kind of insurance against this, but you never know.

Yeah, it's nuts how much people put into bikes.. Eugene has 2-3 grand into his bike.

I recently started riding and was curious if anyone else was into this kind of stuff. It's a lot of fun, and with the help of my buddy Eugene he's hooked me up quite a bit with biking shorts, jerseys and stuff. I haven't really been doing much cardio over the years and this is a great way for me to get into something healthy and energizing. I seem to be riding on trips between 20-30 miles just as a beginner, but it would be fun to ride with other people around my skill level. I like taking new paths and road trips, so if anyone has suggestions, put them out there! I've had 4-5 bikes in my garage hanging for years and decided to get the one down that sizes up to me best and get it back on the road.. so far I have a little less that 30 dollars into new tires, tubes and random little things. Most of the cleaning and restoration I was able to do myself. Here's my bike.. It's a French bike called Motobecane Nomade II. It's somewhere between a 1979-1982 and for it's time it was supposed to be somewhat lightweight...but certainly obsolete by this time. I don't intend to put any more money into this bike, but really I just want to use it as a springboard into riding. If I continue with this hobby, I'll invest in something much nicer. http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/56/l_1068d5ab46574a1aaa0122215b0c6193.jpg http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/45/l_226804acbd7847c58e4da40cd1fe7d60.jpg

That's what I thought you ment by the thing infront of the number.. oh well. There is a phone function where you can hide/change your caller ID to anything you want. I'm sure a quick google will reveal something?

Power to weight > you My car won't be slow.. but it won't be the fastest thing either. 200hp in a 1700lb car is a different story. Jason is right though, my brother's car is also making some power now.

doh'd.

EXACTLY. From memory, in Europe it was outlawed for oil manufactures to bottle and market their products as a full synthetic when it was truely syn-blend. Long story short here in the US we haven't come to those terms yet and we still get marketed full synthetics which are really not, to a worldwide standard. That list that AJ provided includes TRUE synthetics among other smaller names like ELF which is now Pentosin, Torco and etc. that you can find if you look around. And you wonder why those Amsoil tests show ungodly improvements over all other US, "Synthetics"... US synthetics aren't really synthetics The easiest way to identify a full synthetic is if the oil was bottled and regulated by a European manufacturer. Usually, from my understanding, it is labelled on the bottles somewhere.. but you can also look online and do the research for yourself to find out what oils qualify by Europes synthetic standards. Being a VW owner has made me aware of so many things, I can't help it.

I can't wait to show everyone something once I dig it up.. Here's a hint of what I'm trying to find: Mobil 1 isn't full synthetic here in the USA.

Drink a lot of water before going to bed.. usually try to eat something that isn't too heavy on the stomach.

I think that's the kind of reaction I would get out of my dad in my own car, or even my brothers.. lol.

Oh, how could I forget kenny's peon? Elders, are you serious? What does join date have anything to do with respect?for all you know I could have been lurking for years before I actually joined. I could really care less whose been here before me, you get my respect by not being a complete fuckstick, and contributing stuff to this forum for everyone's benefit. Most people on this board are smart and very unique and talented, but there are exceptions. Judging people by join date is just stupid and almost comical.

Okay, on a serious note here for 2 seconds to clarify something. I love this kenny, you always take the time to make some kind of drift fag comment.. which I know is aimed primarily at me. It doesn't, not even in the least bit, get on my nerves.. FYI. But what I'd like to point out is that I actually do something called, contributing. Yes, I actually post some stuff people might actually be interested in, instead of your useless drivel about jerking off to your bikes and your regal all the time. Even then if you don't post about either of those things, it's the most ignorant, feeble attempt at being a douchebag towards someone. I laugh at how hard you try to fill the ethug persona. Really, you're just a chump that I've never seen out at any of the meets as far as I can remember.. probably because you're such a softy in person. So what reason do you have to be here? Tell me something actually worth reading. On that note, everyone else is actually pretty cool that I've met in person.
