Mechanical Engineer You scored 95! You probably think this test is a children's book. You can set rod bearings to the exact clearance that the manual calls for with no margin of error. You can probably identify any car driving down the street within seconds, and you swear your car has a personality all its own. Congrats and happy motoring! My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender: You scored higher than 93% on Nuts and Bolts

Will it never end? Franklin County debates raising sales tax. Commissioners may diminish benefit of state's planned rate cut Franklin County commissioners are considering a quarter-percent sales-tax increase to help erase a potential $55 million budget deficit for 2006. If enacted later this year, it would be the first increase since a half-cent county sales tax began in 1985, and because of a pending cut in the state's sales-tax rate, shoppers still would pay less at the cash register than they do today
-
Well, Ohio will be taking that away too. Ohio is participating in the Streamlined Sales Tax Project. The SSTP is a multi-state initiative to make sales tax laws, rules, and systems more uniform across states and thus easier for vendors to collect states’ sales taxes. The ultimate goal of the SSTP is to encourage out-of-state vendors – primarily catalog and Internet companies – to collect the sales tax of Ohio and other states.

Well actually, this increase went into effect July 1, 2003! The good news is the State Rate is scheduled to decrease on July 1, 2005. Legislation pending in the Ohio General Assembly (HB66, the state budget bill) would make the state rate 5.5% July 1, 2005.

He lives in the apartments on Arborway CT, off Park Rd west of Sancus. Was borrowing a friend's pickup across the street from it. When my son saw it, he laughed his ass off. -

And only has 225 horses at the rear? I will have to check back in the records on where we got the lenses. We did the tail lights over a year ago. I agree with you on the looks of the '99 stuff, but personally invest the major part of fun money to make the car faster, and then make sure the car can handle the speed and be able to stop. Then start the bling!

Rane, replace the lenses yourself and save $450. Looks just as good, IMO cleaner as it does not have the black lines going across the lenses. Spending money because it says JDM is a waste. Spend the money on the speed. e.g. upgrade turbo, boost controller, AFC, Koyo radiator, down pipes, etc. Or just as important the brakes; big brake kit, stainless steel lines, hawk pads, etc. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v303/JCBCPA/300ZX/garage.jpg

A true rookie placing in the top five! Rahal team just wanted to make sure she finished. She will be back and Rahal Team has a hot hand. They will be in contention again next year. Sponsorship money will be knocking down their door. Remember, racing is built on money. More money with a fourth place finish, then a high teen because of running out of fuel.

Glenn Miller, of Cleveland, Ohio, a longtime Sports Car Club of America member and experienced corner worker, succumbed to injuries after being struck by a car Sunday during an SCCA Driver’s School at Nelson Ledges, a road racing course in Nelson, Ohio. A continuous member since 1991, Miller, 58, was working as a volunteer member of the Lake Erie flagging and communications crew, an area-based group that serves to communicate course conditions to drivers and race stewards as well as assist in on-track incidents. An Acura driven by Kurt Niemeyer, of Cincinnati, spun, slid in wet grass and struck Miller, who was not behind positive protection at the time. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Glenn’s family and friends,” SCCA President and CEO Steve Johnson said. “It’s always difficult to lose one of our own, but particularly tragic when it is one of our ‘angels in white’—our SCCA corner workers.” Miller is survived by his wife, Carol, and three children. Update - Services will be Thursday, May 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Brickman Funeral Home, 21900 Euclid Ave., Euclid, OH (216) 481-5277 . The family is asking that donations be made to the family in Glenn's name at 1526 Larchmont, Cleveland, OH 44110. Glenn Miller had also worked at events at Mid Ohio. This is a tragedy. Please remember him in your thoughts.

Well, my better half has an '00 Alero. Like Nurk Vinny wife's car, her car looks great. Only has 36k on it. She bought it new. The car went through some electrical problems more times than I want to remeber to the point I had to take off work and drive up to Chesrown GMC Town to give them an earfull as they tried to take advantage of a woman. Right now, it is still cheaper to repair than buy a new car.

The true Eleanor from the orginal in 1974. 71 Dodge Challenger in the Vanishing Point. Steve McQueen's GT40 in LeMans.

The casing is different, internals are the same. But the NA can be made to work on TT engine with a little bit of grinding.
