Been trying to figure out this for months. I have a loud creak while turning at low speeds and can be felt on floor board on the passenger side. I have replaced the rack and lower control arms/ball joints and drive belt. Power steering fluid looked fine. Seems to do it after 10 to 15 min of driving. Next guess is struts but need to know before I pay as this is becoming expensive. 2002 mustang gt 100k miles

Agree with the above statement. I was always told to use 87 in my 2000 and now 2002gt's. Was even told by some people that if you use 93 and its not tuned for it that it will do more bad then good. And no im not cheap. Found the problem it was a collapsed PCV hose.

Did a vacuum test and found a leak in the PCV valve hose replacing tonite or tomorrow. Ill post results.
