  1. anybody feel like rolling out to watch this game?
  2. sweet. thanks doc. about scott, that guy can be a real douchebag sometimes. at the end of the night, we ended up having one table left, and it was at "his" table. he said something else about the table top, and preacher and i smacked him down. we let him know that if we had to use anything that was his (chips, table top, cards) then he can go ahead and assume that it is "insured by the house" and that threatening the players will get him uninvited in the future. i dug the table tops, because they were so easy to use. we all hated the aces too. preacher and i are trying to figure out how to scrape those off. preacher and i are going to be investing in some actual clay chips, and building some "real" poker tables to use. doc, next time you have some free time, give me a call. well do lunch.
  3. trying to get a little feedback, help me out. how was it? did you enjoy yourself? were there any issues at your table? were you comfortable with the game? would you recommend any changes? thanks in advance. preacher and i would like thank you for attending, and also ask that you help us to improve. our goal is to eventually be considered one of the most solid cash games in central ohio. long way to go, but, hey, baby steps, right?
  4. thanks for coming out you guys. sorry i couldnt get to a table with you and give you a shot at my money. hope you all had a good time, ill be posting again next time we do this. if anyone is interested, the scores of the relevant parties go like this... tilley = $56 jess = $66 marc = $81 howard = $100 dj = $168 at one point in the game we had 21 players at three tables, and there was just under $1000 dollars in play.
  5. damn brian, has it been that long? we need to have another buckeye cookout sometime. great to hear you got the car mean, i know what you were goin through with that.

  11. wasnt me. but i dont know anything about driving either. hell, i have one less gear than you, just so i dont get confused.
  12. you get a really good idea of peoples opinions of themselves reading this thread. i imagine dr. tilley could use this info to draw some interesting correlations. scott, my man, cut it out. dude, arent you in iraq? camels dont count, bro.
  13. catz is good stuff. seriously, though. pay for an hid kit, gain the ability to see into the future with just your low beams on, and never change your bulbs again. ask anyone whos driven my car.
  14. yeah, i do too. even if he is kind of a dork.
  15. my friend and i are hosting a poker game this friday evening south of delaware off of route 23. the game will be a .25/.50 no limit hold'em cash game, with the possibility of other games dependant on demand. initial buy in will be around 30 dollars. we will shuffle up and deal at 7pm. there are, besides the standard rules, a few items of note. 1. there will be no cash outs prior to midnight. do not trip. its a cash game, so you dont have to be there at 7 to play. show up whenever, its all good. as an aside, if you bust out prior to midnight, you are not obligated to buy back in. 2. after midnight, you must give 20 minutes warning before cashing out. if youre the kind of guy who wins a huge pot, and then stands up and cashes out, you will not like this game. stay home. thats it. we usually have about 12-15 players at these games, and its not unusual for there to be about four to five hundred dollars on the table at any one time. we try to limit it to 8 players per table so it doesnt get too crowded. feel free to pm me with questions or to get directions and rsvp. hope to hear from you!
  16. actually, it seems more like youre losing at this game we call reading comprehension. marc asked you if you got kicked off of your travelling halo team. in parenthesis, he implied that it was kinda gay to be on a travelling halo team in the first place. not sure whats so confusing about that. not sure what theyre teaching you down there at OU, but you may want to put the controller down long enough to get to your english class.
  17. to answer your question, i get tested every six months. its one of the few things i do (medically speaking) as regularly as im supposed to. i would not be insulted if a girl asked me to get tested, or if id been tested, and conversely, though i havent really been in the situation for some time, i wouldnt feel bad asking a girl to be tested, or if shed been tested. when i was younger, i did some dumb things. if i had done something to affect the rest of my life, it would suck, but id deal with it. if i had done something to affect the rest of someone elses life, i dont know if i could live with myself.
  18. regardless of wether youre having sex or not, you should be tested every six months. do not argue with me.

    New Chuckisms

damn. that chuck is one bad dude.
  20. i guess this "could" be a tech help thread, but its not really about cars, so ill leave that up to the mods. i have an xbox that i bought some time ago. i recently went out and purchased madden 2006. the game runs fine on the xbox until i go to play a football game. about 75% of the time, part way through the game, it either freezes up, or i get a black screen that says, "your disc may be dirty or damaged". i returned my first copy of the game and exchanged it for a new one, but the problem continues. odd thing is, none of my other games are affected. very rarely, ill get that same black screen while loading up ncaa 2006, but not ever during gameplay. anyone have any ideas?
