There really wasnt much to the bmw. I changed a few things, bigger turbo, intercooler, trans, but other then that it was just a stock 5L with gt40 heads. The rest of the engine was put together with junk yard parts.

I have not read thru this thread but I am sure someone mentions a 5L motor. I was making near 600rwhp in the BMW and I know Dyno Brians car makes 600+ rwhp on stock bottom ends.

Roll racing gets a bad wrap cause there are innocent people out there with you that you are possibly putting at risk. Thats the main reason I think. Yes bystanders can get hurt at the track but not as likely as on the freeway.

Phil, you could pull me out a 10 month coma and I would race you that instant and still not be scared, no matter what you had.

This, our group has literally beat just about everyone here one time or another and we got bored with nobody racing us, even our slowest member, so we have moved to try to conquer the water right now as it is alot more challenging to go fast on water then land. Its take a shit ton of money to pick up 10 mph. Also there it alot more variables involved on the water. So once we feel like we have done enough damage on the lake, we will be back in full force on the streets. Plus our group has been putting money into more important things like houses, self owned business' and retirement funds. We all are not 18 anymore.:fa:

Honestly you prolly wont have much trouble cause you prolly wont be moving that fast. There will be so many people out that there really isnt enough room to go anywhere fast.

It's one of these 2 things. I think it's the stator more then the coil pack cause all 3 are not getting spark.

Why do you think I sold the bimmer. Let it rest for a bit then build something again in a year or two and it will be fun again.

Bring the thing over to my place tomorrow if you want. I got a big garage we can put it in and take a look at it. I'm in pataskala.

The best thing I can tell you is this, you need 3 things for a motor to run, fuel spark, air. Make sure you are getting those 3 and go from there.
