Me and my boys did a full clean up of the boat. we waxed it down from top to bottom. It cleaned up really nice. Fixed a few small things and added a sub in the rear for some bumps. I need to get a few more subs as 1 12 inch is not enough. This weekend we are gonna tackle the front window. We also changed all the plugs and a few other things. We will be at alum tomorrow night at 6 to see how it runs. I am hoping it runs good on the water and doesnt have any issues.

Also the reason I got it is because if anything goes wrong I am able to fix any motor issues or outdrive issues I might have in the future.

Well since this is the 3rd time I have had an issue with jet style boats, I got sick of them. My seadoo is being fixed and the insurance company did cover it, thank god. But this whole summer I have been watching craigslist everyday and finally stumble across a diamond in the rough. I found a guy who lived right down the road from me in pataskala. He works at a body shop and has not had the time to take this thing out at all. It was well maintained from what I can tell. It has a stock 350 motor, 270hp with a thru hall exhaust. It sounds mean. Top speed is 55mph which is slower then the seadoo but it will ride 10x better as it is a deep v hall. It has the alpha one outdrive. but that will do for now. Its a 22 ft with a cuddy which I wanted. It needs a wax job, and interior cleaning. No biggie to me at all. The only issue with it is it needs a front windshield which will be fixed tomorrow. The old one cracked and he pulled it out and never got to replacing it. Like I said a piece of lexan and some tint and its fixed. The plan is to put a kick ass stereo in it and run it the way it is the rest of the year. Then this winter, hopefully drop in a lsx style motor with better heads and alil more cam. It will need a paint job on the trailer and the original tire and wheel put back on as one of them blew out. Well I have a lead on a ls3 motor right now. I am suppost to go get the boat tonight if everything goes to plan. The only thing I cant find is if there are a set of manifolds that will work with lsx style heads. Also how does the water pump work on these boats. I understand it sucks water out of the lake from the outdrive and then pumps it to the water pump on the motor????? The reason I ask is because I need to know what to modify to run a lsx motor in it.

I dunno, it happens when something is passed through another person then posted on the net. I said before you seemed like alright guy and nothing was really said after we raced. I am goin to trails for a bit to help out on a 8 sec gn then prolly head out somewhere after that with everyone else.

I dunno if he is reading this thread or not but I am happy to dig race him again when his head work is done from a dig AT ANY TRACK EVENT that he wants to go to.

Alex, I dont think its the power that splits these blocks. I think it the high revs that splits them. Keep it under 6500 and I think it will last longer then you think. Heck mine doesnt see much over 6k.

Thats not alot of boost. Its only 13 psi in the video. 21 psi is high boost and it rarely sees that. I usually run 110 or better in the car but it was a late night and only a regular gas station was open so I left it on waste gate.

You be the judge. Heard the bimmer and gti are on low boost and pump gas.

The boat is 22 ft. Not sure on the drive it has yet as I am still waiting to get a return phone call from the owner.

It has a 350 chevy. Best bang for the buck to get more hp out of it. Its carbed so right now I have another turbo laying here off a diesel truck. Thought about if I get it doin a blow through setup with the turbo which would cause me to buy a new carb. Or do a head, cam, fuel injection swap from Jegs and running that. Last possible thing would be a lsx based motor in it, 5.3 or 6.0 and running one of them. Thoughts or any other insight would be nice..
