  1. I have a set of brand new Perrin Fuel rails (Black), they have never been installed.......Paid $489.00.........price $410 Shipped! Next on the chopping block is a JDM takeoff (STIv7) Rearend subframe. This is one of the big differences between all WRXs and STIs....It has the melt sleve bushing instead of just rubber, like the WRX has......The bushings alone are $112 from Rallispec. Has never been installed on the car either (its pretty big and heavy). Paid $310..........................................Cost on this is $250 Shipped! (this is a bolt on replacement and has factory exhast hanger) Last but not least is a set of Org. STI fog lamp covers (Solid)for an 02. These have never been on the car and still in the factory box. They are Silver in color and need a good home. Paid way too much for them..................Your price is $100 Shipped! (Pending) All prices include shipping to the 48 states and anything outside of that I'll have to look into. Pickup would work too, i attend BGSU south of Toledo, Oh. I will be in Columbus at the OVR Autox this Sunday (4/18) so if either of these work, great! Please reply or PM if you have any questions...I can't take PayPal so please keep that in mind and I'll ship after the payment has been made, or we can do it locally.
  2. If u have the money-- go turbo. Don't waste your time on other mods simply because you can do them. Go to honda-tech and browse the forced induction forum. After surfing that site for a month or two, you'll be able to tackle the turbo install in no time. If you have any questions about it-- i did a custom set up on mine and on 3 other cars so let me know.
  3. The resistors heat up?? i have a factory resistor box painted flat black (sneaky sneaky).... I would wonder if the flat black holds heat in...uh oh.
  4. The hack isn't exactly designed for 550's. It will run fine, but if you end up taking out too much fuel-- your map sensor will throw a code. If you need any help using the hack-- I'm running it in my car right now.
  5. I used to have the Greddy R on my car, and I too was getting compressor surge. You need to tighten the bolt down a little bit, and play with it. Also-- did you get the standard spring? or the high boost spring? Also-- check the vacuum source that you're using for the bov. A weak vaccuum source might be the cause of this.
  6. I don't recommend doing a turbo kit unless you really know what you're doing. There is ALOT of things that can be screwed up. Clearences, vacuum lines, etc. If you're going to do it yourself, at least have someone there that knows what he's doing--so you can learn.
  7. Ok, so you're saying the turbo is "oversized"? Please tell me how the 18g on the greddy setup is smaller than a drag turbo? Besides, lag is seriously overrated. I say piece your kit together, making sure you get the best components for the least amount of cash. I spent 2515 on EVERYTHING, right up to the last zip ties. I had to do some custom work, but it ended up being the best Idea. I have top of the line parts, and didn't skimp on anything that was important. Just remember that you need fuel, and you need something to tune it with.
  8. Why praise someone when you've PAID for a service?? If you do good work, fine-- you paid for this work. If you go out of your way to please a customer, thats even better. But when i'm paying or something, and i don't get what I want, you're damn right i'm going to bitch. but if i pay for something, and get it-- i'm going to say, good, i paid for that, it better work.
  9. Force Fed actually just finished one like... a week ago. It dyno'd at stock boost 180hp/195 ftlbs-- its pretty quick, and you can still turn up the boost!
  10. The Neons are going to be using a 16g turbo i believe.
  11. Yeah, big baby jesus is correct. If you're going for an LS/Vtec Engine, you won't be putting out 210. Prolly more around the 170-180 range, but around 160tq, which is the best point of this setup. The ls engine does not produce the most torque out of the integra's but it produced more low end torque, that the other engines don't have. If done right, the LS/Vtec is a great way to make power. My .02 is Go turbo on that LS!! [ 30 August 2002, 12:59 PM: Message edited by: integranator ]
  12. damn...that was super random!
  13. Does anyone know of any good shops that can port and polish 4cyl heads and do valve jobs well?
  14. Anyone know a good dent or ding expert. i've heard dent wizard is good, but i want it done REALLY well, some place where i'm not just a number, but a place that will make it look brand new. Anyone know of anyone who can do this for me? i'm willing to pay!
  15. well, the reason that people might say that your motor is hard to turbo is because your compression ratio is high for a turbo. Correct me if i'm wrong, isn't it somewhere around 10.6:1 ? Turboing a b16a would make it very fast, because it has one of the most free-flowing heads honda makes. So, all in all there's not a problem w/ turboing that motor, just don't try to run alot of boost
  16. Hey! you never called me back! Whats the deal w/ that? j/k The offer is still good on your hatch. Who cares if the girlfriend drives it, what if you two break up? Also, that money i pay you will give you a car to put that KA motor into PM me so we can talk about that fpr!
  17. If You're really really thinking the money situation, and not going to run super high amounts of boost. My friend w/ a civic ex AUTOMATIC (vtec sohc) has the greddy kit on it, and was running EXTREMELY lean, we're talking off the charts lean! like 18: .7 and still put down 150+ torque on an automatic mind you at 7pounds-ish. With enough fuel, he could be right up with trborex's numbers. We couldn't dyno the hp, becuase he woulda blown his motor on the high end. This motor only costs around 6 hundred dollars too!! So, thats another thing you could do, its all about preference.
  18. Anyone know how to do it? Do you need a special fitting, b/c alls we have is hoses going in and going out. It is a Vortech. Thanks in Advance.
  19. yeah, don't do the zc swap. If you're looking for power, i say for the money go with the b16a. I've heard they will drop in quite nicely. I've raced a civic w/ a zc and a crx w/ a zc and destroyed them both. My friend w/ a civic hatch w/ 18's and almost completely stock beat a crx w/ a zc. Just lettin u know not to waste the money on a zc, go w/ the b16a imo
  20. correct me if i'm wrong, but i didn't think that the GSR engine fit in the crx. but o well.
  21. aem cold air intake, dc sports 4-1 header. My friend also happens to be selling all of these. He'll let em' go real cheap
  22. Hey rl, a buddy of mine actually just got the greddy kid on his civic, how hard was it to install?
  23. yeah, i used mothers cleaner wax to try to get it out. no luck there
  24. yeah, thats the only thing i haven't tried is using a clay bar. I should have used it today, considering i washed and waxed and detailed my car today thanx tho!
