  1. I'd be afraid to race a 178k miles 92 Buick anywhere.
  2. Sleeping in until noon and not listening to talk radio in the morning = win. Getting Sirius with no commercials = more win.
  3. I posted this last year but I'll do it again. 1 Lb of ground beef 1 lb of breakfast sausage (can get hot if you want your shit to burn coming out). 1 lb of stir Fry meat (sometimes I'll throw a half lb of bacon (crisped up) but not all the time. 2 Cans of chili magic (hot). 2 large cans of bushes baked beans (homestyle).. maple flavor makes it way too sweet 1 can of kidney beans Two can of tomato soup. 1 large onion few cloves of garlic 1 can of diced tomatoes Few jalapeno's and a few cerrano peppers. 1 package of chili seasoning Garlic powder, salt, pepper, cumin, crushed red pepper (optional), brown all the meat in a big dutch oven, add onion and garlic and peppers. cook for a few minutes. Add sauces, soup, chili magic, tomatoes and a few cans of water. Cook for multiple hours. Add the bakes beans about an hour or so before serving. The beans will turn to mush. Add seasoning as needed to taste. I eye ball everything and keep adding more and more until I want it where I want it so I have no idea on measurements. I cook up a package of elbow macaroni or something similar and put that at the bottom of the bowl and put the chili over top.
  4. Chili Magic is only sold at Meijer stores. Google it and Meijers are the only ones who carry it.
  5. My son just got his license today. :fuuuu:
  6. You rub your brake pads on the concrete floor before installing them right?
  7. You should start working on the car and not have your Dad take it to a shop to pay stuff that you can fix.
  8. Don't need this anymore in the garage. It's a comfort glow I think 30,000 BTU (maybe smaller) ventless gas heater. Would be good for an attached garage that's insulated. Not so great for a detached garage that's 20 degrees out trying to warm up. $40.
  9. bump. Found a car for my son. Now my brother needs a ride for his wife. Something under a grand.
  10. No.. just the spark plug throws sparks. That's about it.
  11. Nice motor.. Ugly ass fucking car. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevrolet-Caprice-Police-2011-Chevrolet-Caprice-9c3-/110748316811?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item19c91d348b
  12. I started dorkind around with it earlier. Plug it in (took the cover off) and the spark was there and bright. After it kicked off due to not lighting i put my finger on the end of the nozzle for the fluid to come out and it was wet.. no soaking.. but wet. I see where the flame sensor is. I cleaned it with some electrical parts cleaner and that didn't change anything. Guess I'll order the sensor and see what happens.
  13. BRB.. sending cashiers check from Nigeria.

    Dog questions

Did you miss the part where I said small dog to 30 lbs/ That mountain dog starts off at like 80 lbs. As for my parents... well my mom does pretty much everything. My Dad has parkinsons and can't really do much around the house. My grandma (moms mom) is in rehab with a compression fracture in her back (she's also 90). Mom just has a ton of stress on her and I feel the need to get her a dog to take some of that stress away at nights.

    Dog questions

My mom has been constantly talking about getting a dog. Growing up we had a dog and she was awesome. This is for my mom and dad who is 75 and 70. I'd like to surprise my parents one day with a small dog. I'm not talking a 5 lb dog or what not. I'd say something around the 30 lb range. I'm not even sure how big a 30 lb dog is. No german shepard or what not . A well mannered dog, not a puppy so about a year old, house trained, etc. This isn't really a WTB thread but if there's something out there I might be interested. I'm more/less looking to see what dogs out there that would fit my parents. It also doesn't need to be a pure bred or anything expensive like that.
