I played AOE 1, 2 and Age of Mythology. Hell I think I might still have the CD's somewhere in the basement.

How do you think this will hold up for having it outside with snow/rain? or is this mainly an in the garage cover?

I enjoyed it. I haven't watched Altered Carbon yet, but will soon.

 

 

Altered Carbon is definitely strange. We're 4-5 episodes in and while the action is pretty neat, you need to pay attention to the back story and how it plays into now. I like the actor because he was one of the main people in the Killing on AMC back in 2014/15.

But do you have the matching chair and ottoman? Eh eh?

 

No, we have the matching lamps, end tables (broke the coffee table years ago). Was a set we got from Value City for like $800 when my wife and I first moved out. It's now our "basement furniture".

 

Just never seen anyone else have the same couch as we have.

Thanks for all the help getting this thing moved over to Sprint. Man that was a pain in the ass. Phone rocks though!

I use Mobdro on the firestick. It works good but if you watch a super popular channel like Discovery or something it tends to crap out after a few minutes and start lagging bad. Basically stopped using it. I have Kodi but from when I did use it it took FOREVER to load anything.

I need a new phone.. just not sure I want to spend $200 on one.

Edit.. nevermind. Now I know what you're talking about. The headlights lol. Yeah every time I go over 100 mph they pop up. apparently I can cut a hole in the hood or somewhere in the front trunk area and it won't happen.

"Fabricated" the rest of the trunk so I can actually put something back there. On the trip to Detroit it only got to about 120 degrees max in 80 degree weather so that's not too bad. Took the existing heat shield, wrapped it in header wrap. Then took the bottom of the trunk out, flattened it and got some of that metal sticky flashing stuff and wrapped it.

Then finally picked these up in November from tire rack for $150 shipped for both. Plan is to toss these on the back, Put the rear 225/50/16's on the front and sell the 205/55/16's on CL.

Drove it up to Detroit for a wbody/3800 gathering in July. Found there is basically NO room if you have a passenger. Car ran great until one the way home sprung a leak in the trans cooler line:

"Grand Am brake upgrade" lol. Paid $25 for two new calipers and rotors. They are an upgrade since all 4 corners on a Fiero are single rotors. non vented. Tossed these on in the summer sometime:

Installed a rear sway bar. It's a Front sway bar installed in the back since there isn't one from the factory:

Made a set of coilovers for roughly $300. This let me run a 255/50/16 Drag radial.

Painted the blower, put a ported lower intake on it for the intercooler that I can't seem to get to seal so I just left it until I decide to mess with it.

I was lucky enough that the previous owner ran a natural gas line to the garage years ago. I went and picked up some old heavy ass heater off Craigslist in Lancaster. Separate thermostat, vented. Works pretty damn well.

Get a wrx and paint it with rhino-liner.

Plugs/wires/ICM/hole in piston.

I'm waiting for someone to pull me over in the Fiero. Personal historical tags and only one is issued from the BMV. I wonder if they actually do see that I don't have a front tag and then when I drive by they see the personalized tag and say "damnit".

 

I live in Gahanna and work in Westerville and have driven by numerous police this past year and not one time did I get pulled over.

Suck it up, pay a buck and walk around and see what's there. If you join their tool club member (or whatever it's called), you get emails on when they are doing 1/2 off anything in the yard sales. Generally on holiday weekends.

I posted this on FB but no one responded. These were my Grandmothers and she bought them in them in the mid 40's. One is cedar and the other one I'm not sure? Cherry? They're very nice and we have no idea how much their worth. She did have an auctioneer dude come and look at them and he said $50 for both of them. My mom was pissed and said nope.

 

So with that said, what would something like these go for? This isn't really a for sale thread but if you're interested in them shoot me an offer and I can relay them to my mom. They are in Westerville (Annehurst area) if you would want to come by and take a look at them.
