  1. Still planning on signing up. Just need to get the car together.

My only guess is that since the track is 1 1/2 hours away and not Norwalk people may not want to drag their stuff up there. Also the point that it's $75. That may turn people away. At least a good portion of the racers.

    Just my opinion though.

  2. Just saw it on there. Soooo tempting......

Word of the wise from the Fiero crowd of people. Some tend to hack things up. I've seen a LOT of "swapped cars" that people buy only to find out that stuff is hacked together, broken, or just plain wrong. As someone else on the Fiero boards said "you're buying someone elses project".

  3. I didn't say good taste was a part of the equation. Although to be fair, I like the rear roof treatment of those kit cars (and the Fiero GT fastback roofs) much better than the stock notch-back of the fiero. I also like the V8archie hatchback conversions so what do I know, I'm weird like that.

Agreed. I just don't like it when the wheels are tucked in like 6" and it just looks like garbage. Just my opinion. But then again my GT is just primer black with black wheels.

  4. a SC 3800 swapped fiero with 308 GTB bodywork and the emblems already deleted apparently:

    Barf.

There's a SC 3800 swap 87 GT (and it's a 5 Speed) in Delaware going for $2500 on the FB market place. I can't do FB from work but if you type in Fiero it's the first one there. Might need some work done but for $2500 (or less) it's a decent ride. Probably a mid-high 12 second car.

  5. I love how you have to go through the first 5 pictures before you see the whole thing. Kinda like facebook. :gabe:

He posted that on the Fiero pages. meh

    but this.

When they ask what kind of Ferrari you're driving, say "it's a Ferrari Fiero, new model for 2018" and watch their faces. It's worth owning for that moment alone.

    :fuuuu::dumb:

no, it's not worth owning it for that moment alone.

  6. What part of the foot hurts? Is it more towards the heel or the between the toes and the heel? Either way you might have plantar fasciitis. I still have it but I lost a few lbs and it went away.

Before that I went to an orthodic doc and the first thing he did was shoot a cortisone shot in my heel (yeah that sucked). That helped but still had pain. They ended up taking a mold of my feet and had custom inserts made for my shoes. They worked but like I said, I lost a few lbs and the pain went away.

You could always go to a meijer and find their Dr. Scholls machine thing. You stand on it, it measures your feet, some other crap and tells you which Orthodics to buy.

It's worth a shot and only will set you back about $50 or so.

  7. Couldn't hardly even break into the 12's. Weather was shit and my car felt like a dog.. plus it's only the second time I've ever tried launching the thing (on all-seasons nonetheless), leaving me with 2.3 60's. Anyway, it was a day full of excuses from a lot of people, but it was fun seeing everybody who didn't leave before 10:30

I sucked it up until about 2 and left. The whole place was a ghost town when we left.
