I'm pretty sure it's not the battery. the doors will lock/unlock, but the trunk button doesn't open. I have a spare fob from the car and I swapped the circuit boards last night and that let her open up the trunk but then I guess the lock button doesn't work or is flakey. It might be the battery though.

Don't have the title. The bank does. I can get just about everything else though. Registration, insurance, etc. Yeah, I could buy a new fob and I most likely will. I have two here for the car and the wife can't open the trunk to get stuff out. The key is just for when the fob dies.

When I bought this car a few years ago it didn't come with a set to open up the doors/trunk. And now the fob is starting to act up. I need to get some keys made for the trunk/doors so my wife can actually lock it. (actually, right now we can't even open the trunk because the idiots at GM didn't make a lock pop thingy in the cabin). So can I just go to a dealership and they can cut me a new key? How much are we looking at? I think I looked into this before and I just needed to give them the vin or something and they could cut one.

Time to have some peeps come in with some 5th wheelers and fill in the gaps .

For the past 9-10 years we've lived here, I'm the one who had my car in the garage and the wife parked outside:).

No idea . That's why I'm going to pay the experts two grand to do the rest of the work to get the door up. Installing the header on a garage that hasn't had one before is something my brother nor I really didn't want to tackle.

yeah. neither did I. well, not with how it was setup. The pole in the middle holding up the attic was the killer. Now I need an electrician peep to come out I need to pick their brain on the wiring.

Thanks. just one door is going in though. basically from the left side of the walk in man door to the right side of the "barn door". Should give me pleanty of room to get in. It's actually cheaper to go with a 18' rather than a typical 16' because I'd have to do some masonry work and brick in about a foot which I really don't want to do.

Yay. My brother and I did some massive cleanup. 5 55 gallon bags were used, 4 trash cans and burning a SHITLOAD of wood in my back yard. This is all in preparation for when I get my 18' wide door installed in a few weeks. Basically we had to rip out the ceiling/attic space the previous owner put in. Then we moved my workbench from the side of the garage to the back and secured it. The garage is 24x24. I was amazed at how much room there is in the garage even with both of the cars in there. It was cheaper by a good amount for my brother and I to start ripping stuff out than having the company that's doing the garage to do it. Here's the pics. beforeX.jpg pics are from a few years ago of how it was originally setup. You can see the pole in the middle that was holding up that little attic space. I got World Tour on ebay for $90 shipped. game, drums, guitar, mic. Given the guitar broke in a week but they have a 30 day warranty and they sent me a shipping label and I just sent it back. I didn't pre-order it. I should have though . Oh well. Pedals are only $20 or so anyways.

Anyone have a chainsaw me/my brother can borrow for a day? My neighbor had some huge logs/tree cut down and we're going to keep the wood. Problem is, the people that cut it up just left about 6 or 7 rolls about 15" high and the tree is probably 3 feet in diameter. It just needs to be quartered.
