I'm drunk on page 1. woot.
  2. I got $45 I believe from mine at this place on Route 3 a few months ago. 4 aluminum wheels and the cat was $75 or so.
  3. So trick or treat kids will have to go around houses in a boat?
  4. Stolen from Facebook. http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk314/buck531/265537_514083158606464_138862256_o_zpsxlnwnvif.jpg http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk314/buck531/470554_466149120066535_245358331_o_zps8jjojhf8.jpg
  5. It's my brother. The one that I posted the handyman thread. Hes not that computer savy
  6. Ha.. Yep. Animul. He was the one that I first saw back in the day about the 3800 community. What was your nick on CGP/l67swap? Back in the day Milzy and I did a 3800 swap into a 95 Monte carlo. That sucked bad. Just.. bad. Good times.. sorta.
  7. Brian Teel? I believe he (along with you/others) ran that site? i was on there all the time looking for information when I did my l67 swap in my Lumina back in the days.
  8. Not sure if you can just use the PCm from the GTP because the Impala/Monte Carlo has some retarded pass-key/theft thing going on (from what I've heard people tuning Imps or Monte's). I "think" the trans cooling lines are different from an 01 to 03 but I'm not sure. I know they're different from a 98/99 to a 01-02.
  9. Blah.. depends on how much you beat on it. .
  10. I just put a s/c on a 99 Regal LS with an NA bottom end. It's a pretty popular swap.
  11. Its been done a bunch of times. Pretty much all w-bodies are the same all the engine/trans parts interchange and bolt up to each other.
  12. You're not looking in the right places. http://forums.motorswap.org/ or grandprixforums.net. I would use the trans/motor from the GTP and just drop it in the Impala. If you use the GTP trans you'll need to make your own axles (inners from the Impala and the outers from the GTP (different splines). You could use the trans from the Impala but you'll need a different flywheel and/or torque converter. Everything else will drop in. I believe the only other thing you would need is a MAP extension harness that will go from the front of the motor to the back (or make your own).
  13. He can do that. He needs money more than being cheap. I'm not sure how big the job is and/or how much money you're looking to spend but you can talk to him and find out. That would be him. Thanks Rocky. He's had some bad luck in the past and just needs go keep on truckin' (literally).
  14. She sent me a PM . thanks Rick.
  15. My brother was laid off from his job a few months ago. He was a pressman for 35+ or so years. Since printing jobs are hard to come by these days he's turned into a handy man type person. He's always been like this. He can do just about everything from electrical to landscaping. So, if anyone on here needs any job done. Installing a new faucet, bricklaying, drywall, painting, etc. Please send me a PM and I'll send you my brothers contact information. Thanks. Before a mod locks this up asking for vendor fees I already asked Anthony and gave the OK to post it. If it needs to be moved somewhere else then go for it.
  16. I get the "fun" part of why CR was around. I've been around since the beginning. I'm talking about people asking serious questions about whatever and they get replied with "go fuck a tree" or "go play in traffic" "or suck it up and be a man." type stuff. Most people regardless of age don't want to see that (well unless you're the one replying).
  17. I don't think anyone takes this site seriously anymore.

    Dumping cable

So I've been thinking of dropping cable and getting "whatever box" to replace it. My son (who's 14 and autistic) basically watches his shows on his tablet these days. So cable really isn't need much anymore. I was wondering what was out there. Here's what my wife and I currently watch. Basic cable. 4-6-10-Fox? But can they be recorded without cable? There are several shows we watch on basic TV shows but I'd like to either A: record them or b: watch them live as they air. Some over lap their time slots. There are also shows on say Discovery/A&E/History/Velocity/Food Network that my wife and I watch. I don't need to watch them live but would like to either record them. A friend on FB said he installed some HD antenna and a Roku 3 box and it cut his cable by more than 50% while upgrading his interwebs to the full 50 MB down. Right now I'm slinging $190 a month for a WOW gateway/DVR/router/POS. That's with the gateway and 1 other box for the basement (which I rarely use) and the phone which I talked with the wife and we agreed we really didn't need a LAN line anymore. What options do I have out there that will fit my needs?
