    You get a choice of TWO 3-cylinder engines...a 1.2L and the "big-block" 1.3L.

I appreciate using turbskis to pull max power out of these small-displacement mills...but I wonder how MPGs will really be affected when people are flooring it in stop-n-go traffic or stop-light racing during their daily commute. Intadesting...

  2. Just heard they were shutting down barber shops. I assumed this was inevitable and got a hair cut yesterday.

Barber shops, nails saloons, BMV, etc.

  3. Ford, Chrysler, and Chevy shutting plants down? Just heard that.

My son works at Dave Gill and he said they're talking about shutting down the plant and they may even close the doors on the dealership.

  4. I went to Aldi's two days ago and they still had some TP left (before schools were being shut down). Filled up cart with a decent amount of stuff and was in and out in 1/2 hour.

I bet the people who are doing that extreme coupon thing are laughing their ass off right now with all the 2000 rolls of TP they've stock piled and got for free with coupons over the years.

  5. I'm doing a complete reno to my kitchen/upstairs. What are you guys doing with the trash/byproducts?

I pay Columbus taxes...is there some kind of dump or pickup that I can use? The garage is holding all the trash for now.

Years ago we did some remodeling in the house and ended up using the Bagster. Went to Lowes and picked up a bag for $50 or so. Filled it up X days later, called the Bagster folks and they came and pickedit up for about $150.

  6. Damnit. Sorry man. :( I can't speak from direct experience but my Mom had breast cancer 10+ years ago. Got through it and it's fine. I wasn't there every day as I had my own family but I couldn't imaging my wife going through that. We had a scare a year ago but it turned out to be nothing.

Hoping she's doing well now? Expected to make a full recovery?

  7. At least they are making progress now, how frustrating. Where are you guys staying in the meantime?

    That hornet's nest is crazy.

My insurance is paying for our rental house in Strawberry Farms.

Oh on top of my brother dying in January, House burning down in June, I got laid off from 17 years at Chase in November. It's been a super shitty year for us.

  8. The remodel is coming along. Slowly but surely. The PM we had from Roth construction was shit canned along with our "interior designer" and the main subcontractor building the house. Now I got a new guy and he seems to be getting shit done.

The furnace and water tank have been moved downstairs (we wanted that), all the framing work has been redone. They had to completely rebuild the addition as it wasn't even close to being up to code (previous owner cut so many corners). Siding, windows and gutters have been installed except they put the wrong front window in and the basement windows haven't been installed. The replacement front window and the two basement windows are at the house now and will be installed tomorrow. Plumbing is done.

    Anyways. here's a picture dump.

  9. There used to be a house on Stelzer Rd somewhere between Johnstown Rd and Easton that always had a ton of motors sitting out on stands. Like 20 motors. I assume the guy reconditioned and resold them. Drive down there and look if he is still there. It'll be on the east side of Stelzer rd. Probaby close to Agler Rd if my memory is right.

I don't see as many motors as I did before but I'm pretty sure he still works on them. I think it's the last house before you hit the Big Bird on the right side if you're going north on Steltzer.

  10. I have the even cheaper version of the first one and I've had it for like 9 years, but it looks like the motor is the same one on mine. It is a little hard to start in the winter if its REALLY cold out. Maybe the oil-less would operate better in those temperatures.

I have the same one I think you're talking about. A good 10 years old. (black/21 gallon). Mine doesn't want to start either in stupid cold weather like below freezing but it does the job for what I need it for. Hell I used it to paint the car last year.
