No, Shadow is completely stock, I can't afford to get the thing running right, let alone mod it It would be fun in the future though, they're great little cars.

My Shadow just gulps fuel like it's nothing. It uses more fuel than the T/A. I tried some STP fuel system cleaner and that seemed to help a bit, 2 tanks later and I'm back to the ame ol' crap. There seems to be black smoke at times, and the engine has a somewhat smooth idle but will jump at times. I'm just not that great with cars so does anyone have a general suggestion. I've tried to do some research and I will probably replace the O2 sensor(I think it has just one). Another place said to check the plugs, wires, and distributor. I just dont' know what to do, HELP

Well the only reason I have my Shadow is bc I found a woman selling one in decent shape with 93000 miles for $150 I really didn't care if it was turbo or not, other than the fact that it could get me where I needed to go and I would save mileage and the huge gas prices I payed for the T/A.

ComputerGuy5 has an 86' Laser with a 2.2 Turbo 1 in it. That's the only reason I thought that the DSMs may have had the 2.2L in them.

I don't have a turbo on my beater, but I was wondering how much it would cost to toss one on there. It's a 1990 2.2L just like some of the the DSMs I've seen, so I'm sure somebody knows something, like if I could put a used DSM turbo on there. Thanks guys smile.gif

The speedometer on my Shadow is really finicky. The damn things works sometimes, and decides to just sit on 0 other times. I don't know anything about this car other than the fact that it burns tons of oil and smoke leaks from the valve cover, but other than that and the speedo, the car is fine Anybody got any ideas?

Well it seems as if one of mine has fallen off, so I took them all off. I was just wondering if there was a such thing as chrome lug nut caps, or do I just have to go to the dealer and buy a new set of these cheap plastic ones
