  1. That's what I thought he meant when I read his post. If so, he is very very wrong tongue.gif

I kinda doubt the LT1 was faster than your LS1. By lid we mean the part right above the air filter. The stock lid is full of baffles that prohibit airflow. It's a great first mod to do. Personally I'de recommend a Texas Speed lid. I've never heard of anthing from BBK. There are couple aftermarket intakes you can buy, but unless you're going big cubes or extreme heads/cam combinations, I'de stick with a regular LS6 intake. As for removing your cats, I'de have no idea. I have custom true duals that were fabbed without cats. Most headers come with Y-pipes without cats, so that would probably be the best choice for that.
  4. There will be morons along the way, but nothing catastrophic like you're predicting tongue.gif
  5. http://www.detnews.com/2004/autosinsider/0406/13/b01-182007.htm The LS2 is going into the GTO. Rumor has it Chevy is bringing back the Camaro. The 2006 Z06 will sport a 427. I'm sure Ford has plenty up their sleeves for the new Mustang. Looks like we may be at the beginning of a rebirth here. I can only hope I'm right
  6. And I can pick one of these up where?
  7. Traction Control sucks. I wish I could have ordered my car so I didn't have it. It kills your launch. Every time I drive the car I turn it off.

The best out of my car with nothing but a cutout was a 13.3 @ 104. If you have the 3.23 gears, you should be around that time.
  9. I once stopped in the middle on Tuttle Crossing blvd. to let a momma duck and her ducklings across the road. I was just hoping that the people next to me would do the same. Sure enough they did and all the little ducklings made it safely across.
  10. Sorry I couldn't get pics. This thing was very nice. Lisence plate said HNDA PWR. Looks like it may have been lowered with an aftermarket body kit. Looked like some very nice deep dish wheels as well. Anybody know who it is? Very impressive car graemlins/thumb.gif
  11. That's why I never park next to any other cars
  12. It was in a thread on the CorvetteForums about how the HUD will probably be programmable, then someone photoshoppped that pic. It's really just meant to be funny for the people that know about the ALL YOUR BASE phenomenon.
  13. The HUD pictured is from the C6. Here is the history behind All Your Base. http://www.planettribes.com/allyourbase/story.shtml http://www.planettribes.com/allyourbase/zerowing.gif

  15. Please do not speak when you don't know what you're talking about. The Autrocross Edition you're referring to was a concept car at SEMA, never meant for production. It also had an LS6 engine, not the LS2. They may share some styling cues, but it's going to be a different car.

  17. Wrong tongue.gif Guiness record is presently held by an English Mastiff. But probably the breed that's the biggest on average would have to be Newfoundlands and Landseers One day I'll have one of each smile.gif

  21. It's not a sign. I've had 3 Windows machines die on me, that's why I switched to Apple. And Apple doesn't manufacture the hard drive itself tongue.gif [ 24. May 2004, 11:34 AM: Message edited by: 00 NHRA T/A ]
  22. Sorry I didn't clarify. I'm running OSX. The drive itself makes a clicking noise now. The computer won't boot at all. I've attached a firewire hard drive to the laptop so I can use it, but it doesn't see the internal hard drive. I also have a program called Data Rescue X that can't find the internal hard drive.
