  1. That's basically the same deal I can get someone as a "Friend."
  2. S is the sportier of the two; blacked out trim, sport seats, black headliner, blue stained dash wood trim. The C is more "mainstream luxury" and has a lighter interior, and technology package (stop and go ACC, Lane Keep Assist, collision mitigation, etc.). Not sure if panoramic sunroof is available on both or just C. I would check for you, but only have my phone right now. From the outside you would be hard pressed to tell the difference, if they both had the 19" wheels. The S was released with a bunch of info about how the AWD acts more rear biased when in sport mode, but honestly can't tell you if that's different from the C.
  3. Very nice. The late Z31's have grown on me lately.
  4. Giving you a bump for obvious readons. Hopefully someone here can help you out. Saying "loaded" will mean something different between the S and the C. Only the C comes with the technology package. I know this is company money and you probably don't need a discount, but feel free to hit me up if I'm wrong.
  5. FWIW, the Viper is faster than the C6 ZR1. Many have contested the results of the original Motor Trend article where even Randy Probst said the car scared him when trying to push it, but the TA has the Laguna Seca lap record and the most recent Lightning Lap had the Viper on top of the Vette. We'll see how the new Z06 stacks up, but there is no denying that it's a performance bargain. However, the Viper is a much more exclusive car that you can have built to your specs. It's a hand built, hand painted low volume sports car. It's not like a Corvette that you can walk up to any Chevy lot and buy and you don't have the factory customization options. There was a rumored s/c Viper on the web, but those rumors were being put to rest. On good authority there were engines built and delivered, but the funding for production isn't there. Just repeating what I read on the forums. Also of interesting note: The current Viper chassis code is ZD, the precious was ZB. Supposedly, the SLS Mercedes is the ZC chassis; what was to be the Gen V Viper, but cancelled until the new owners revived it and re-engineered much of the chassis into the ZD.
  6. The 15k didn't come out of any content, but they did add another model, the GT, to the mix in order to get the lower base price.
  7. I know a lot have criticized the price of a Viper compared to the Corvette, and it appears they are trying to fix that.
  8. It will be a while before you can close your eyes. Within the next 10 years (at least) you will have to be 'attentive' and ready to take over driving at any notice.
  9. We are a long way from driverless cars, but soon you will be able to sit back and let the car do most of the work in certain scenarios.
  10. I don't know how anyone can watch that video and believe that the beheading videos were faked.
  11. True. If I were building it as a drag car I would make it A2W. If it were a street car, A2A. If it were budget I'd probably go A2A.
  12. If you do A2A you could spry the intercooler to combat heat soak.
  13. They would say the same thing about drone strikes. These guys need to be wiped out.
  14. I think she also said something like, her face is the only thing that's been stretched more than her vagina.
  15. Plenty of people do the plywood splitter, even for track cars. I see nothing wrong with it, as long as it's mounted rigidly.
  16. I don't doubt that some make really good money. The guy that did my landscaping takes a 3 month vacation over the winter to somewhere exotic every year, and he even pays for several of his crew to go with him. Last year they went to New Zealand and Australia. This year it's Maldives and Bali. I've dealt with some awful contractors but been lucky enough to stumble on a few good ones. Try Angie's List.
  17. Welcome. Haven't seen a clean Accord like that for a long time.
  18. One just opened near my house too. I've already been there a few times and when my wife had a baby last week her biggest regret was we missed their parking lot sale while we were in the hospital.
  19. Checking the forums, there are already lots of rumors of the Viper getting S/C'd. Either way, on topic, the new Z06 is a huge performance bargain and I'm sure they will sell a lot of them.
  20. It's a hand-assembled, hand-painted vehicle in extremely low production numbers, it's not built on the scale of the Corvette and never will be. They claim to have an entire production year's worth of customer orders, but dealers ordered stock that they couldn't sell (people wanted the vehicle built to their spec) so they shut down for a few weeks to clear out dealer stock from the pipeline. The other reason dealers can gouge prices is when the production is limited, which Dodge has said they will not do with the Hellcat. If you want one, you can have it. That should also help dealer markup.
  21. On the flip side, dealers with huge markups can get stuck with cars. There are two dealers with fully loaded 2013 Viper GTS's discounted to $95k. MSRP was $140k.
  22. It seemed scripted and the look on his face leading up to the cutting does not seem so calm and relaxed. You also have to realize that he has been in captivity for some time, and everything I've read says he was deeply religious. He may have accepted his fate at this point and said what he needed to in order to protect his family.
  23. He has. There would be absolutely zero motivation for ISIS to fake this, and if they are insinuating that the US government faked it I see zero motivation for that either. We already have justification to strike.
  24. Total bullshit. They expect me to believe that a group of people that has no hesitation killing women and children, burying them alive, ripping them in half by tying them to cars, etc. would go to the trouble of faking the killing of one man to a country they despise by using photoshop in the middle of the fucking desert? Sure.
