  1. Except that if its 0% financing there is no advantage to paying for it up front, besides personal satisfaction of no debt. It will cost you the same in the end, assuming you make payments on time. Actually less if you consider the real value of money caused by inflation, ie. a dollar is worth more today than tomorrow
  2. Dodge Viper. Maybe a CTS-V. or the 2009 camaro with a v8
  3. does it have to be new? or can it be used for 30k. $25-30k buys an 04-05 Audi S4 with low miles.. maybe not the best for fuel economy, but a nice V8 and quattro
  4. what kind of B&W speakers are you going to go with, 6xx, 7xx, 8xx? I have some B&W speakers now and they are killer. Recommend getting monoblock amps, so each speaker is individually powered. Maybe something from Rotel or Classe
  5. i got an electric razor for xmas.... hate it.. doesnt cut nearly as close as a razor (esp. fusion) and it hurts like hell. Really the biggest issue is the closeness of shave. I shave with the electric and its just not smooth or close enough to feel like i just shaved. switched back to fusion..
  6. I just wish they would get the f***ing trucks out of the left lane. Its such a pain when youre on 2 lanes of i-71 and a truck going 56 passes another truck going 55 and it just backs everyone up
  7. 4 cyl BMW and its 'riced out' with fugly wheels, taillights and its an ugly color to begin with "the world is mine" ??? wtf, mine as well say "owned by douche bag"
  8. So... exactly what research have you done on Rick W's spending habits? Are these even close? Do you have any evidence to suggest Rick does in fact spend xxxx on his car, on his house? What about his wife, does she like jewelry? Point is this is such a bad example. And to say that investing doesn't give back to the economy is a blatent lie. It's investors that give companies the money to hire people. It's investors who give companies the money to produce goods which people want to buy. It's investors that give companies the resources (money!) that make our economy and growth possible. All the investors ask for is their money back +/- . How is investment bad again? Please explain how spending money on consumer goods is better than investments in companies that provide goods, services, and jobs within our economy.
  9. I fail to see any relation between the two points you brought up Its all because of the OPEC cartel putting a squeeze on the supply for no reason other than trying to draw more money from businesses and consumers
  10. be careful out there.. The MM's like to screw the little guy especially in the options market
  11. you could sell the wheels and tires for $3000 and then buy some stock wheels for $400

  15. Hello, I am selling a Philips Acoustic Edge PCI Sound card. Come with dongles for SPDIF in and out (ie. coaxial) and outputs for typical 1/8" jacks. Good card for gaming with a lot of features. $10 SATA PCI card. This is a 3 month old card. I upgraded my motherboard and dont need it anymore. Has 1x external SATA and 1x internal SATA. Cost $35 3 months ago. $15. $20 both Pick-up campus area.
  16. I would reccomend a new motherboard, processor, memory and video card. Memory is so cheap now, you can get 2gb for $50 or 60. You can get a core2 duo for $100 or so. You can get a decent motherboard for $100. Video, 256mb something decent for $50. Is $300 too much? I think thats pretty reasonalbe for the performance gain.... you could probably sell your current mobo / proc / memory for $100

  19. big bird, I also like that front end much better. Especially the way the headlights flow into the side grills (assumed for brake cooling or oil coolers).. The production look just doesnt 'flow' as well. Espeically that akward angle on the bottom of the headlights
  20. What do you mean 'all these talks' .... It is well proven that that turbo will put down 420-450whp at 15psi all day long on a 13b. I have a very similar turbo and made 420rwhp, with a smallish hotside. A LOT CHEAPER and much less hassle than a LSX swap.
  21. EDIT:::: twin-turbo 3.8L V6 will produce 473 horsepower and 434 ft-lbs. of torque. 192mph top speed. 0-60 3.5 seconds, 11.7 1/4 mile STOCK. http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/nissangtr_fs1.jpg http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/nissangtr_fs2.jpg http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/nissangtr_fs3.jpg http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/nissangtr_fs4.jpg http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/nissangtr_fs6.jpg damn.. nice looking intake runners! http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/nissangtr_fs7.jpg http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/nissangtr_fs9.jpg Apparently its sub-$80k (z06 or 911 range) , 450+ hp, twin turbo V6, awd, and the coolest thing to come out of Japan for a long time. 190mph+ top speed. According to motortrend, the GT-R goes 0-60 of 3.5 seconds, an 11.7-second quarter mile, a 192 mph top speed, and under $80k. discuss...........
