Debt to income ratio plays a big part and it should because the bank basically puts a budget together for you. Any outstanding debt.. say student loans, car loans, unpaid CCs, blah blah. The ratio of future debt obligations to how much $ you make will determine how much the bank will lend you based on 'what you can afford' for a mortgage payment.

I couldnt agree more. In 8 years of driving and 6 different cars from a total POS beater to my current rx7 , I've always insisted on a manual. Autos are so boring.

sorry for the lame comparison, I was just being honest with what I've used The biggest thing is that when I went from volk/sumis > stock wheels I put on new Toyo T1R - which is a good performance tire, but nothing outstanding - I felt like I had more traction in 1st, 2nd, 3rd gears. This was with 30mm less width out back. I don't typically launch the car hard, but giving it lots of gas in 2nd or 3rd meant less slipping. The sumis were HRT-Z I believe. This was several years ago and I think it was the first iteration. Of course the Nitto 555rs grip a lot better....

I bought some volks with them on them even at 275 width, they were nothing compared to the nitto 555r on 275s I have now. I had 245 width Toyo T1R on stock wheels that hooked up better than the sumitomos. I would have never bought them but they came with my old wheels

Well, I finally live alone and need some high speed Internet. I don't need cable but if there is a good package deal out there I might consider it. I really don't want to spend more than $60 or so for everything because I'm cheap and I never watch tv but I cannot live without Internet. So far the best deals I have found are these (Internet only) -AT&T elite DSL ... 7 mbps .. $35 with combined billing (have wireless already) - time warner, 7 Mbps. $35 I wouldn't consider either of these great deals really. Anyone know of any good deals? I live near OSU campus/ clintonville. I'm sure there's Someone on here who works for one of the cable/ phone companies and can hook me up? Thanks

evan, glad you are aware of the $7500 0% loan from uncle sam. I believe it increases your tax liability / lowers your refund meaning that there will not be a direct payment made to the government, but rather your refund will be lower or your taxes will be higher each paycheck (same difference) . Not 100% sure on this, but pretty sure.. I'm going to file my taxes soon (first time home owner as of Aug ) and I can fill you in when I fill out the paperwork to get the 7500 I made money at close with my FHA loan. Buyer paid $3000 towards closing costs, points, blah blah and raised the price $3000 on the house. Also, they cut me a check under the table for $2500 for repairs etc. This is illegal so dont tell your loan officer and definantly dont bring it up at the closing table

I know he just did some maitenence etc. to it, so hes trying to recoup some of those expenses.. either way, still a pretty good deal for something this cherry

Yep, Ive seen a lot of old Benzes running on veggy oil or other stuff. The engine is idestructable .. 162k is pretty low for a 1982. I think you could even get collector plates on this, 25yrs I believe
