Hey guys this is mjeosu27, When I disengage the clutch on my car and shift gears, the transmission (or at least where I think the sound is coming from) whines like a little bitch. It is a constant whine, until the clutch re-engages and the car is in gear. It is loud enough that I can hear it over then engine. The clutch is not slipping at all. Is my tranny about fried? Whats the deal...any suggestions? The car is a 2000 Mustang V6. Thanks in advance, Mike

if it was your clutch slipping it would get worse the more the clutch warmed up. So the symptoms would be opposite...ie: after drive it around for a couple of min and use the clutch a few times. the rpms climb but car doesnt accelerate as it should. or at least thats my understanding of clutch slippage Kyle G>

1st of are you putting this on the passat? assuming you are the motor can handle it just fine but there are a few things to consider. One a dry shot up to 50 is fine for the vr6 some people even run a 75. the fuel system is pretty apt at filling the need. You will want to get a 4bar fuel pressure regulator. Also there are a few companies that make n2o chips for the vr6 that will retard your timing and make it safer for your car to run. If you want to run a 100hp shot i would recomend a wet kit and the chip. check out giac as they have some pretty nice options based on the mods ur going to run on your car. How many miles are on your vr6? so long as they arent to high you shouldn't have to much trouble spraying it. But lastly once you get the kit on i would get it dynotuned with a wide band. Call up dynobrian and set yourself up cause the last thing you wanna do is run lean and pop your motor...unless of course you're looking to upgrade. Kyle g.

what year vw is it that you are woking on? sometimes the rear brakes are just bastards. odds are your ebrake stuck on that rear caliper and it got hosed for a little while and thats why it is damn near gone. and as for cranking the back ones back in the others are right about turning and pushing. if you need the vw tool let me know i have one at my dads house. if you have any general questions on rebuild kits or any of that shit give Jim grossman over at midstate auto a call he's usually a big help. at least for me. unit should power up with any wire size let alone a 10 gauge. Now when operating n2obird is correct you would want a 8gauge wire min. which bby did you goto? the way the managers make you do shitty stuff i wouldn't doubt it if he was just trying to make his accessory goals...now is the amp not powering up or is it not making the noise you need Kyle G.

also if you are doing a direct copy put the cd writer on a different chain from the drive you are using to copy from. Kyle G.

Apparently the early dsm's have the resistor boxes also...it seems as though its all about stepping down the power from the high impedance requirement down to the low impedance requirement. My question is that if you simply step down the power for the low impedance injectors is the ecu gonna freak if it doesn't get the same power on its return signal or is it not gonna notice? also included is a link. the silver box in the picture is the box that you are looking for. resistor box Kyle G.
