my step-dad used to be a sales manager at Toyota Direct and Germain Toyota a long while back ... he worked 60+ hours a week, made very good money, but if anything ever came up he stayed longer, so he wasn't home all that often. But he was a hell of salesman too from what I've heard from everyone is that he could close just about anyone. ... just my 2 cents.

Well depends my ex had a grand am that I hated driving because of the power steering eliminated pretty much everything. Where as when the power steering went out in my monte carlo once. And it was game on, car sucks to turn with no p/s. Cjackson has '86 Fiero GT that you wouldn't even know didn't have it.

once you mess up without power steering there's realy no fast way to recover, that being said about a car that is supposed to have power steering. But like Blackbird said, most cars that don't have it form the factory come with a taller ratio in the box so that it's not so hard to turn.

Haynes manuals for the car are worthless (I work at Autozone, that was the first place I checked when I heard '12 hours' I thought there's no fuckin' way.) I have a '93, and it shows and explains like '87 or something. And you do need to take out the instrument panel. Tomorrow is my first day off in awhile, I'm gonna mess around with it for a bit. If I get pissed off enough or tired of dicking around with it, I just might look ya up gearhead, so don't be surprised.

Does anyone have any tricks or tips about switching out the Heater core in a 93 Celica ST. I've got it bypassed now, but that'll be no fun once it gets colder. It's labeled as a 12 hour job by Toyota. And where as I thought I'd just have them do it, I can come up with a better way to spend $1,100. Figured I'd ask before I got into it, thanks!

Yeah, life was good until I got turned into Check Systems ... what a wonderful idea that was. Bank screws up, admits they screwed up, so I told them to take care of the account and go ahead and close it ... they closed it and turned me into Check systems for $8.17 ... so I went and paid the balance and was told that I'd have to wait like 5 years for the Check systems thing to go away...
