  1. There is lots to worry about, if your going to go dsm, though, I would say a gsx, that way, you have a turbo, awd, and you can mix winter and rally at the same time.
  2. By the way, the pipe from the motor to the muffler is not in my possession - it will either need to be fabbed or shopped around for.
  3. I've got this go kart I've been building, I've put a lot of tlc to get this thing where I have wanted. Now, I've got two more things I need done to it, and, one of them is some exhaust work. The motor on this thing would not mount up due to the old exhaust so I removed it, and, because it is gone it is wicked loud. I need a guy that can weld to weld a pipe from the exhaust that will then come off the motor into a cheap muffler I have bought. Also, I will need the exhaustmuffler cut so that a large portion of it is removed and rewelded together so it is shorter, then, welded to the frame of the cart. If someone thinks they can do this I may be looking for it done by the end of the week, throw out a surmise on the price if you got one too. Thanks, -Zack

    BB chevy??

So what will this motor be going into in the future? Are you thinking of taking the block of this 454 and building it to some sort of LS6 specifications or taking it another direction?
  7. I took an old go kart frame and completely sanded it and repainted the body, did some cool silver and black painting on it as well. Then, rebuilt the motor, added a funny exhaust, new axles and a much smaller sprocket, ordered some big tires (come in a few days) and reworked everything else you could think of on the thing. Now, I'm just getting ready to enjoy a new toy.

  11. Yep, Pat is exactly right, here are some cd drives you can count on working. Just a word of advice, if you get these new you will be spending more, so try to find some used ones if he wants to be under that thirty dollar budget. -Yamaha Professional Grade CD-RW 10x 650MB/74Min -Sony CD-RW 700MB/80Min (CDRW700HS -Sony CD-RW 650MB/74Min (CDRW650L) -Maxell DVD-R 1-4x -Memorex DVD-R 4.7GB 4x -Fujifilm mini DVD-R 1.4GB
