  1. You need to check out the garage journal board. I have a 36x56 workshop. I built it 15 years ago as a shop. I have a 2 post lift, concrete floor with 200 Amp service and water. I have my walls insulated with 6inches of fiberglass and a oil based furnace. I have a second floor in my shop for storage of rims, parts/etc. I don't have any pictures presently on my iPad. My shop kinds looks like Kirk's above from the inside. The exterior is a sheet metal without any windows. The Amish built the shell and I did all of the electric, concrete, insulation work. I also built the second floor and ran the water.
  2. Wow, that is a big location. Are you using the whole facility?

  5. Thanks guys, please keep the reviews coming in. My wife is not too tall. I am am around 6 foot and I sat in a Passat at the Detroit auto show and was fine and there was room in the back sit behind me.
  6. Aaron, Thanks for the info, however, I am wanting the diesel for fuel economy. This will be the car that the wife will drive and be our family car.

  9. I went to the Detroit auto show yesterday and we are looking for the next family car. I was thinking about the Mercedes e series Blue tech, but am very serious about the 2013 VW Passat diesel. Is there anything bad about the Passat or the VW diesel. I believe the 2012 was Motor Trend's car of the year last year? The good is the Passat is about $30k less than the Mercedes. Let's discuss.. Where is the Passat built, hopefully not in mexico......
  10. Or presently out of the state... LOL

    Garage Lift

I have a used challenger and love it. Yes, you can install it yourself but for $500 I would farm it out. I installed mine and had a fork truck and to unload and it set up.

  13. Dan, what size of trailer did you buy?
  14. Pay off debt, then buy land. The restaurant idea is not a good idea, it is tough to get started and a very small profit margin even if you are successful.
  15. Chad, Excellent... Another incredible/affordable turbo experience made possible by on3performance.
